I've ran a few tires on my Gen 5, can compare them for you.
Pirelli Corsa: Excellent all-around tire. Very good in rain and daily driving (surprisingly good). I liked them on track, they gave you plenty of slide warning when they were approaching their limits. Only needed about 3/4 of a lap to heat up.
Michelin Sport Cup 1: Horrible on the street, rock-hard in cool weather. Needed 1-1/2 laps (MSR Houston) and 1 lap (COTA) to heat up. Tires grip very well for about 15-20 min of hard laps, then turn VERY greasy and begin to fade quickly. My fronts faded with no warning.
Michelin Pilot Super Sport: Good all-around tire. I've put 10K miles on a set now, and have tracked them 3 times. They take a full lap to warm up, and surprisingly work pretty well for 20-25 min. Not as much lateral grip as the Sport Cup 1, but impressive. This photo was taken while on Super Sports.
Of all three, I'm liking the Pirelli Corsa the best though. Better in rain than the Super Sport, and equal on the track.
