Nice dualies
nice tires RedViper. What are they?
Invos only work if you're going to daily a gen v viper and don't get on it, otherwise you dont even want to consider them. Corsa, and R888R are 50/50 in that spirited street driving/track use. And P-zeros and PSS for 80/20 street/track ratio.

Do they make Cup2s in a size that may work for us (cough cough... TA size in particular)? I didn't like the Corsa's much on track. Predicable, but lacking overall grip. Could be due in part to the age of the ones I was on, but front chatter and understeer are documented by others as well on these tires.
Any updated info on tires for track driving now, a year after this original post?
Are you just replying without looking? Or maybe a different model? Never been a 355/19” in Cup2 that I have seen and tire rack nor Michelin lists any size bigger than 345. Only viper size is 345 and yes they made another batch of the 345 a few months back so they are in stock again.
The R888R is a completely different tire than the R888. Much much better and another great option.

EXACTLY !! This thread took a year off, and resumed with OLD DATA.
NOTE: If you buy your Viper tires at any RACK other than PartsRack, you probably paid too much! .....really!!
We sponsor this forum, and all we do is VIPERS. We have tracked, Xd, and streeted most of them ourselves. THANKS for your consideration. Please email me at:

Recently put on a set of R888R, with 2 track days, my perception they felt stickier than the corsa, which I've tracked for ~2 years. The R888R communicate well near and at the limit. No lost to steering feedback. Running the 295x30x18 on 18x11 front wheels, perhaps the 295 being stretched helped. The only issue is the road noise ~70+mph, compromise I'm willing to accept for better track performance.
