Hi Everyone,

This is an update to keep you posted - nothing 'new' included but please look out for another update mid-morning tomorrow.

Only 12 hours ago, the party location was predicted to get 1-3 inches of light snow over the whole day Saturday... right now it's more like 5-8.

For over two weeks, we have been past the point of changing the schedule with the venue per our contract.. BUT given the turn the forecast has taken, I am going to call them first thing in the morning and request that they reconsider our schedule. I can't guarantee that they will be open to it, but we're going to try. Then again the weather man could be wrong and Saturday might not be that bad.

Many of you have reserved rooms at the hotel in connection with the event - that will be part of my conversation with them tomorrow morning also. If they are willing to change the party date, it will need to include credits for those reservations.

If you have specific concerns please let me know.

Thanks everyone for hanging in there. I will keep everyone posted as soon as I speak to the venue tomorrow morning.

Hello Viper Owners - here is the update:

The party will NOT take place this Saturday, January 23. The forecast has changed for the worse rapidly and this is the safer option for everyone.

The venue was flexible given the circumstances and will hold our deposit, no penalty for a future date. If you booked a room through the block you should have no problem moving the reservation to the future date as well. Events planning is going to give reservations the heads-up.

WE HAVE 2 Alternates available. Please email Ed or Post up here or PM back right away to let me know if you can attend one or both of these options:
Saturday February 6.
Saturday February 20.

I need to give the hotel our decision by closing time today (Friday 1/22)

FEBRUARY 20 is the new date.
Time of day, location, menu, etc. all remains the same.

As long as it's a NY Knicks or Brooklyn Nets tank top, then sure lol

dress is pretty casual though, we get a range from nice polo shirt outfits to suits, whatever makes you comfortable.
