Finally my ACR at D3 Engineering Performance

Isn't this the first turbo built for D3? If so I am not surprised it took a year. All the research and development, trial and errors along with a aftermarket cam and complete engine build. Not to mention all the dyno time and tuning. Cage, parachute fabrication. Builds like this don't happen over night. Especially on a first time attempt. This was not a "final production" kit they just slapped on to a stock motor. I can tell you from owning multiple cars with certified cages that it takes time to even do that correctly.

1000+whp at only 8psi!!! Lets give props where its due guys. More than half of us on here don't even have half the money it takes to build this caliber of a car.

D3 actually was the shop that fixed NASTYGTS's RSI TT build. This isn't there first TT but the first was on a stock motor.

I'm talking about GEN Vs. I haven't seen any other D3 GEN V TT build other than this one. So I am assuming this is their first GEN V TT. That's what my statement was towards.

So if it is in fact their first GEN V TT build coupled with the fact it's a full build to include blueprint engine, turbo and intercooler, fuel system, tuning, cage, parachute, etc..... I can understand it being a 12 month long build. Especially when there are other shops included in the build like Greg Good.

I know of the white car with black stripes. Isn't that a stock motor with a slapped on turbo kit? So that's an RSI turbo kit? Not a D3? Not a full build like this ACR.

It was an RSI kit to start, then James took the car to D3 and they re-did the entire kit to make it their's including electronics. And yes I did agreee in my original post that this was a stock motor vs a built motor. I'm not shitting on D3, I like those guys and they do good work.

Got you. They've accomplished a lot with the 2JZ platform as well as the Viper. Andy's D3 blue GEN II is one of the best performing Vipers out there.
