Weighing clutches, Results where quite a shock to me,
Both are steel for steel flywheels,
The stock Gen 3 flywheel and spec 3+ clutch weighed 67lbs was a shocking result ,
The NTH Moto triple carbon Gen 3 clutch with there flywheel weighed 39lbs, Very happy with the 28lbs of rotating mass savings.

Installing the NTH Moto triple carbon clutch was pretty straight forward, The clutch pedal feel is like factory! Hard to believe it is a triple clutch, amazing product and service was top notch.

You can get a Gen4 yoke or get a Gen4 drive shaft like i did for the TR6060 install here is the difference, Gen4's is thicker walled.

Gen4 on top and Gen3 on bottom.

Installing the TR6060, So since it has a thicker case at the front than the T56, You will need a slave cylinder spacer made by RAM part #598 from summit racing, It will give you a great base to start your measurements. The bell housings are the same from a 05 gen3 to 08 gen4. Pilot bearings are the same as well. For fluid I used Royal Purple Synchromax. Installed the factory wiring harness was all plug and play from T56 to TR6060, Installed the 6060 with the woodhouse trans mount, The trans crossmember needed to be modified where the trans mount bolt drops through.

    Nice Build!!!!

Update on the TR6060 and Nth clutch, The 6060 shifts so smooth compared to the t56! Its so much more enjoyable to drive on the street shifts like butter, On the race side lightning quick shifts compared to the t56, No more trying to shift and feel like it hits a wall then goes into gear. The Nth moto clutch is hard to believe its a triple disc 1500HP clutch the pedal feel is the same as a stock luk clutch, Zero chatter, zero noise, I had to really think about it and put a few hundred miles on to give any feedback on it because you just can't tell its been replaced over stock. Very happy with the 6060 and Nth clutch, has greatly improved the driving experience.

Agree with all your comments Paul, TR6060 put the enjoyment back in shifting my car. I don't think I've blown a shift (2-3) in the two years since I installed it. Probably used to blow a shift nearly every time I took it out if I was shifting hard, shift straight into a wall. Enjoy the ride Buddy, I'd like to see it in person one of these days.

pretty good I take it. Damn those tires are serious

  14. #64
The traction was terrible usually 60ft 1.5 60ft with the mickeys 345/35/18 which were on the car when i went to the track, The last couple pics are with the Big Boy tire package 30", will test these soon, DA on track day was 3785,

JRR John Reed Motec Plug & Play Motec kit install.

Very happy with the John Reed Motec plug and play system, He's in Portland and I'm in Canada so i had him remote tune it, The power is amazing but whats more amazing is the drivability with his custom JRR motec software, Car drives better than stock , In traffic stop light to stop light , tip in throttle all amazing kick ass product and service from John.
We made 1,063whp 1,153rwtq on a very safe conservative tune with low boost.

Got the car to the drag strip, I had launching issues so John Reed was wrenching on the laptop, monitoring my run and took a bunch of boost out of first and second. Next pass was a 9.9 @144 with a bog in first, We went to add more power back into first and second gear but wasn't enough time left. Car preformed flawless was flat-out hauling ass, traction is definitely a issue car was hand full to drive all the way to the end pumped with this street setup.

I have not posted in a longtime, Car is still the same VIN number but completely different build now may not even look the same to some. I'm sure I will forget a bunch of stuff but here is the basic upgrades and how it performed this year. Car is making more power than previous dyno, John Reed street and 1/4 mile tuned it this year my guess would be around 1400whp. We have alot more on the table. Still on very low boost numbers.

-Calvo Motorsports CM1800 Twin Turbo kit Air to Air intercooler with my 67 precision turbos
-Th400 Auto manual valve body Transmission by Hutch Transmissions
-Drummond Racing rear 15" brake conversion
-DSS 9" Differential with upgraded axels
-JRR John Reed Motec and tuning
-NTH MOTO Bogart wheels with upgraded Gen 3 rear suspension components
-Calvo Motorsports Performance Gen V CNC'ed Heads
    -Gen 4 intake
    -Coupe conversion
    -Custom paint work

Awesome numbers and build Paul , Thanks for sharing !!!

Just wondering what plug wires and ignition coils did you go with ?

  24. #74
I have been using demon coils for many years with no issues, Wires I had jtsvp now have upgraded too calvo motorsports wires nice fit and finish. I have been thinking of going coil on plug but the car runs so smooth around town, It has no misses even at my power level so I see no point in converting it.
