The new engine bay is finally taking shape, Installed the charge pipes, Tial waste gates, AEM 3-bar map sensor, AEM iat sensor, Stage 3 intercooler. Powder coated what I could black too tie everything together. Installed the 67/66 precision turbos for a dry mock up.

Love the powder coated intake tubes. Really goes well with the build.

The header wrap is all done on the up pipes and the down pipes, Friend Joel helped fab the exhaust with v-bands and modify the down pipes, The turbos are in wrapped with turbo blankets, oil lines are done, fluids are back in the engine, Todd was on my laptop today running it and making a start up file for breaking in the engine.

Amazing work Paul, a TT is on my bucket list but I have to convince the wife that it is essential And yes, we need some numbers.

Finally had time to take the car to the dyno! Strapped it down, Car impressed us both at 10psi low boost on pump gas, low timing , also last pull was heat soaked for 10 pulls and back to back runs not even turning the car off for last run, dyno operator thought i said take it too 5000rpm but i said take it too redline which is set at 6000rpm. Was a great day just a torque monster , What is turbo lag lol? Cause i don't have that lol. We planned on 10 psi, 13 psi, and 16psi with c16 but ran out of time.

    very nice power!

  21. #46
Thanks guys! The power level is a experience everyone should feel just once , Its unreal to have this amount of power on the street under you at any given moment and like I said before what turbo lag? The power is instant.

    Very nice build!

After running a new spec 3+ clutch (1100torq rating) last year on the paxton 700whp and it didn't last, I thought it may have to do with the fidenza flywheel after talking to spec, So I gave them a second chance and put in a new one this year on the TT build with a factory steel flywheel zero luck, Time for a major upgrade! A NTH Moto triple carbon Torq rating over 1500torq. Thanks to NTH MOTO and Arron for Hauling this across country for me!
