Exhaust cutouts

I did a quick search and found nothing on this.

Has anyone thought of making exhaust cut outs for the Gen V? Maybe a dump after the headers so its basically a straight pipe...
Or would that be unbearably loud?

not only loud but pointless, there wont be any gains

I thought about doing it on mine. I had cut outs on my X6M, having the choice between crazy loud and stock sound was really nice. Did back to back dyno's opened and closed and it picked up 11hp at the top end. $600 all together wasn't bad either.

I'm asking merely for sound and the ability to go louder at the flip of a switch. Kind of like what comes with the Shelby GT350.

I've had them on Vettes and think it's a great idea. I'd look into doing it since I'm not going to do headers. I just have to find the right shop to do it. Maybe Calvo Motorsports in Austin, TX could do the work???
