    New to VOA

I guess it is time for me to join the club, since I own two Vipers now. I have owned a few Supras over the years and never thought that I would own a Viper. To tell you the truth I was never that impressed with them, until the Gen 3's came out. I do like the way the Gen 2 GTS and up look, but the early Vipers did not handle very well for me. However, I really like the way the new Gen 5 handles and performs.

My son and I own Dynosaur Performance and we normally build Toyota Supras. However, we have built a few Vipers in the past. Some of you might have seen the yellow TT GTS Viper owned by Elliot Pressor (Alkybanshee). This year has been very busy for me with building a TT Gen 2 which we took to Texas Invitational, Northstar Dragway and to Royal Purple Raceway where we recently ran a 7 second pass on drag radials. Both cars run Calvo Motorsports turbo kits. The rest of the car is built at Dynosaur Performance. I will have my Gen 5 finished next year.

Watch for us at our local drag strips, Texas Invitational and other local racing events in the future. I look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Welcome to the VOA. I always liked the Supra's, I had a college professor and his was so cool. We have all had many cars but eventually you want to own a Viper, that's what I have found anyway. Looking forward to reading your posts and do post some photo's of your cars. We have an "other cars" section on the forum, I have posted some of my other cars there. Would love to see your hod rod Supra's!

Welcome! Supra was one of my choices but I instead opted for the more rare Viper when I was shopping. Still would like to own one day. One of the best imports the states has ever seen!

Ross is local to us, and is always out supporting us and his customers in the Dallas area at the events. You would be hard pressed to find someone with anything negative to say about him. Welcome Ross, glad to see you joined VOA!

Welcome to the club. I remember back in the day supras were actually one of the my favorites. One of the faster cars back then and it truly did have a look that was ahead of it's time. Fortunately I felt even more compelled by the viper. ;.)

Glad to have you aboard. And welcome to the multi-Viper owning experience. You're hooked now!

Welcome Ross! Seems like all the Supra guys love the Gen 5 Viper. Probably due to the similar long hood, short hatch and smooth body similarities between the two. Still amazed that yellow Gen 2 busted off a 7-second pass without a warm-up, on the very first pass down the track. LOL!

Thanks guys! Tony, we had been testing the Yellow car at the local 1/8 mile track several times before Quick 30, so we knew that it should run well in the 1/4 mile. After that we wanted to get Will and Lydia's 240 dialed in.
