Will these fit a 96 GTS or would I need to do some modifications? I am just north of Houston.

I am not sure. I believe they will fit. But let me do some research.

Shouldn't be an issue at all. Gen 3+ have larger calipers compared to the Gen 2, so that means less aggressive offsets. If the wheels fit on a Gen 3+, they will definitely fit a Gen 2. It's the other way around that can tend to be an issue.

Very nice looking wheels, but I bet they are a bitch to clean.

Actually, they are very easy to clean. Chrome wheels are pretty easy to keep clean, spray the right wheel cleaner on them and they clean up. I had some polished Aluminum wheels and they were harder to keep clean. I think the chrome coating makes it easy to wash off the dirt with the right cleaner.

So from what Ive read they should fit the 96 GTS without issues. If you wanted to meet up to check them out or even test fit them, I would be happy to help out with that.

Rear tires I am running are 335/30/20, you can run a 345 if you like. I believe the fronts are 295/30/19 - I can verify this for you when I get home.
