since i do not have in depth knowledge of all the options, anyone, including vendors can update me and others in this situation.
I dont want this to be a pi--ing match between vendors or members, just a fact base update in case someone has not stated the facts. opinions are welcome based on experience or just thoughts but lets try to keep them short and sweet so that the thread does not go off topic. I do not have any horses in the race- just trying to summarize and learn about what i dont know.
the notes below are as i understand them. please correct me where i am wrong.
option 1.
Arrow heads and cam
cost about 15-16k - installed drive put price
includes cam, ported heads, full exhaust and related parts
640 rwhp- additional rwhp about 80 compared to current stock car plus arrow pcm
advantage: 1 year 12k powertrain warranty
arrow research and credibility
relative reliability and piece of mind with arrow
sound of cam
field test with cars on the street already
disadv- 15k for 80 additional hp is very expensive
option 2
d3pe supercharger
cost 17500 installed
includes supercharger, injectors,
750 rwhp
advantages- better bang for the buck
dp3e history and credibility
supercharger sound
disadv- not in the field yet
no warranty
exhaust will be 6k on top of this price
option 3
250 shot nitros kit
cost ???
800 hp
disadvantages: not permanent
option 4
turbos??
Option 5
??
thanks for everyone's input.
