    Paint & Wheels

    Paint -

For those that have purchased thru the GTC and choose a custom paint, does Dodge provide a small touch up bottle with your color. If not, what do you do.

    Wheels -

Had to have one of my Hyper Black Sidewinder wheels replace under warranty...local Dodge guys nick the original one pretty bad getting the tire off and rubbed some of the paint off while putting the the new one on. On the new one, I was able to touch it up (had to use a Ford Color) as there is no touch up paint for Hyper Black. My question on the changing tires on our wheels, what type "wheel changer" equipment should I be asking the shop if they have before taking the tires to be put on.

On my 2004, same thing happen to the wheels, different shop, but same type of damage. Then it wasn't a big problem as I was getting the wheels re-chromed anyway.

    Thx

    Jeff

If you went GTC 1 of 1 then you'll have your paint code. Get touch up paint anywhere

go to a tire shop with a touchless tire remover, they are very common in shops that specialize in big chrome wheels. they can easily handle a 19x13 when they do 28's.

Definitely not. Having said that, any Sikkens dealer can mix up some bottles. I had that done to physically see my color before submitting my code.

Guys thanks for the replies. Live in a very small town, but now I know what to ask for when I call the the surrounding areas when it come time to changing the wheels. Also, great idea on choosing the paint codes...currently looking at my wife's fingernail polish.
