    No fly zone in December

So is anyone planning to go to the December event? I went on a Sunday in spring and it wasn't as crowded.

Is there a website with info about this event? I would like to attend as a spectator. I saw a Youtube video, looks fantastic!

I can't review the website because the work firewall is so strong, but the general website is

    www.omegamotorsport.com

You'll have to dig a bit for specific event info, i'm sure.

Thanks - Perfect, just signed up for the newsletter. I will definitely be there and some day, maybe, will enter the new Viper.

It was a blast and felt very safe when I did it last spring. My top speed was 161. Thanks Todd for sending me this link:

My brother and I made it over to the event today (to spectate only). It was a pretty good turnout and there were a boatload of Corvettes, Porsches and GT-R's that were running. I only saw one Viper (red w/silver stripes) leaving after lunch. The fastest time that we saw was 198.22 (GT-R), with a Porsche not far behind at 192.

But, on the way home, my temp gauge was acting up and was pegged at 250+ degrees. Thinking that it was overheating, I pulled over to the side of the road (in Gila Bend), tried to figure it out, and I ended up calling Eddie for help. I can't thank Eddie enough for dropping what he was doing and then meeting us in Maricopa to make sure it wasn't a serious issue.

So far, so good (looks like a wiring issue with the temp gauge only), but just wanted to shout out again to Eddie for his amazing support and willingness to help in times of need. Thanks Eddie!

LOL, Ha, Ha, Ha. Kicked my but as my top was only 161.7541!

I'm seriously thinking about the mile event in March in California!
