New Owner In Phoenix - 2008 SSG Coupe

Well it only took 26 years for me to be able to post this. I've wanted a Viper since I was 19 and Dodge started talking about making them. Last week I bought a 500 mile 2008 SSG coupe with black stripes, black and gray interior, and Nav radio. It came out of an estate collection in northern California. Absolutely brand new. I'm not much for mods, but I made 3:

    1) I'm an old school Mopar guy, so it needed some 70's flavor:

    2) The passenger seat needed an upgrade:

    3) Entertainment system upgrade:

Those are viper fangs he's making, BTW.

You're going to love every minute of Viper ownership. Take it easy on the go pedal until you get some seat time as the torque of the Viper is like nothing else and you don't want to experience snake bite! Nice upgrades - especially the shifter - reminds me of my 68 Roadrunner!

We have a very active region here and a great holiday party coming up on December 5th if you'd like to meet some of the other owners in the area.

Rocket makes a good point. Which is rare so take advantage. Really though that torque will beat you up fast if you arent careful.

Yes our Christmas party is on the 5th. If you join now we can probably still get you registered. Congratulations on your purchase. There is nothing like it. And we have a club here filled with great people.

Congrats and you definitely need to join VOA , since there is a real active group of folks in your State. Rattlesnake shifter seems pretty appropriate for an Arizona Venomous Vehicle!

Welcome to the club! I too recently bought my first Viper and am still in the permanent grin mode. Nice car, great upgrades and hope to see you at the X-Mas party!

Did you join yet? Also don't forget that NVE is coming up in May. Could be up to about 500 vipers there.

Exterior pics, or it didn't happen! SSG is my favorite color of all the Gen 4's.

We do. They didn't want to let me in at first but I got a nice letter of recommedation from my parole officer and my court appointed psychiatrist so they decided to let me in. That's how nice the club is out here. They are even nice to all the voices in my head which is really kind of them.

Make sure to introduce yourself in the Arizona section in case some of the people don't always check this section. A lot of our club looks mostly at the Arizona section so be sure to make an introduction there.
