There is a 96 GTS on ebay for sale. The car actually looks like it has been lifted. Guy is asking $72k, yea right!

Look at the headlight gap (much more than normal) and then look at the gap at the front of the side sill right behind front wheel and hood. The car looks like it is twisted for lack of a better description. Definitely a Viper 4x4.

Something wrong? The add say "Has no Flaws". Actually, it looks like the hood is not all the way shut regarding the hood gap. However, the lifting part is awful.

I first thought the engine was out of the car, but the back is sprung high as well. Maybe its just a rolling shell?

Looks like when they did the suspension work they did not tighten the bolts at ride height

Nose had been repainted at some point though - the stripes go too far down that front lip (which can be so clearly seen from the ride height!!!)

My guess is whoever installed the 'racing shocks' doesn't know how to adjust the ride height.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
As for the front end, there is something wrong there, it might be the bonnet is not closed properly or the front nose has been off the car at some point and has not been adjusted correctly? Could be a simple fix?

High price! Good to see people wanting top dollar for their cars, weather the seller gets it or not is a different matter!

Come on guys, Dennis Anderson (Grave Digger) owns a Viper too.. Just kidding I don't want to offend the owner, his GTS looks pretty clean (mint condition) even with the 4" lift kit.. Hope my comments don't come back to bite me in the Donkey.., all in good fun dude!

    Might be an AMC Viper.

I need that car. My driveway has a couple of ruts I haven't filled. Finally, a Viper that can handle my driveway!

But only if the transfer case is an NP 231HD, since I have parts for it...

It's designed for the North East where speed bumps and frost heaves rule.

Nailed it. That is exactly what one looks like with no engine. Remember, the Viper is technically a Mid-Engine car.

As far as the ride height, I have no idea. But the gaps being off definitely looks like the front end has been off the car. The front bumper is up too high, hiding the bottom of the headlights. Then it looks like they used that as the starting point for adjusting the hood and it kind of snowballed from there, back.

Although after taking a better look, the drivers side hood latch didn't catch. Mine will do that if I close the hood too gingerly.

No one yet has noticed that the lower lip under the front bumper has had stripes added to it which tells me, repaint, accident and thus not original. That is why the hood is not lining up..different from fascia and or hood.

Originals have stripes stop under the front bumper.
