    New owner Calgary, Alberta Canada

Just picked this 2002 Dodge Viper rt/10 a week ago. Bone stock with 19k. Been a huge fan of vipers for most of my life. Looking forward to getting some tips and help along the way.

Welcome! Nice car! I'm also in Calgary. Let me know if you're interested in taking it to a track (road course).

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with the color and car. Was going to go with a light 2000 silver Gts but really liked this color and how well it was maintained. When the weather is nice I would like to meet up for some runs also. Thanks

Awesome car! Love the rear wing too. (although not stock)

A few easy things to check and mod *if you are interested*
--Make sure the recalls are done.
--replace the corrugated intake tubes with smooth tubes
--exhaust mods. (make it sound as mean as it should)

    Welcome aboard.

Checked out the recalls, everything is good. Just put K&N's in and ordered smooth tubes and muffler delete with x-pipe from JonB earlier this week (thanks to VOA members) I have already removed the alpine deck, amp and speakers and replaced them. Yeah the rear spoiler isn't stock. I'm definitely interested in lower price mods. Thanks

If you haven't already done so, you may want to replace the plugs and put some good wires on too.
AB Wires are the way to go, IMHO.

Good move on the sounds system upgrade. Sadly, something I still haven't done after all these years! LOL!
My stock one is sooo bad, I just keep it off

Tell me more. What kinds of speakers? Find a good replacement sub?

I went with a kenwood 6.5" separates in the door and 6" JL audio sub. I used a sony deck I had laying around with Bluetooth. I picked up a kenwood 600 watt digital kenwood amp that ways 1lb. It sounds so much better. I can't get over how bad the stock stereo sounded so I had to change it. Another reason I'm changing the exhaust. I'll post some pics.
