I think Jalopnik is simply trolling the Viper

    At this point.

First article they've posted on it since SEMA started

Two stories dedicated to the "death" of the Viper

    None of this.

Dodge must have cut back advertising to Jalopnik.

Jalopnik obviously has reports of the new Gen V ACR lap records, but have neglected to write a story about it.

Apparently it set some records, but it isn't news.

I love that concept car... It's like they caught the car in mid-morph from Gen1 to Gen2 with the Gen1 Fascia and sidepipes on the Gen2 Coupe body.

Jalopnik loves ther viper. They are just having fun because of the cancellation talk. It's one of the more interesting stories in automotive right now. Even people that have never owned a viper and would never own one are pouring one out for the baddest homey of them all. It's all in good fun and that much chrome is awful, imo. I get that people like it, but i've never liked chrome wheels...especially not on something like the viper.

This has nothing to do with the Gen I/II, this was a stupid move.

Well they can keep showing that stunning picture of the Gen II GTS, Car looks Awesome to me, a true Icon of the Supercar world. That's up there with an F40 as far as Im concerned.

Remember that poster of the female tennis player scratching her bottom years back. I think that Picture of the Viper is just as Iconic.
