Well just got a call from Viper Concierge on my Extreme ACR order, they will NOT put a red driver's stripe on my Stryker Green ACR...
They also said, they will not put a red driver's stripe on any stryker color...
So, FYI guys, want stryker, no red driver's stripe.
In my mind kinda defeats a 1 of 1 order...
So you can have a pink viper with metallic pink stripes, but no red driver's stripes on stryker colors...
I will say the viper concierge experience has been great, its not their fault, its Dodge's "Design" group.

Personally I think red on the metallic green would look a little weird...black on the other hand would look great. Are you going with black now or no stripe?

The issue isn't the red stripe on Styker green, it's any color stripe on a Stryker color. Stryker Red, Stryker Green, and Styker Orange are three stage paint jobs. Stryker purple apparently isn't as a member here posted photos of his 1 of 1 Stryker purple with silver GTS stripes.
That's my understanding of it, if I'm mistaken please correct me.

No, they'll do stripes on Stryker, GTS stripes, or ACR stripes... they just won't put red on stryker colors...
yes, the center and driver's ACR stripe will be black...

I was playing around with the updated 1of1 online build model, and came up with these 3 options. *NOTE* Even though I chose the same color shade as stryker green in the bottom 2 pics, the finish process is obviously different than the "metallic" and "solid" It seems to give off a deep, rich look, thus making it look a bit darker.
Stryker Green with black center band, and as the OP stated, no red driver's stripe allowed.
Same shade as stryker green, but with the "solid" finish option, along with the red drivers stripe: *NOTE* You may add black center band.
Same shade as stryker green, but with the "metallic" finish option (different from stryker paint process), along with red driver's side and black center band.

My only guess is it has something to do with how small the stripe is, but again that is just a guess

Just do a vinyl stripe. I was playing with the hat configurator earlier too. I think the red surprisingly works on most colors.

Hey SMHOG,Just For The Record,If It's Me That You Mentioned Not A Member Here , Thats Wrong,,, Been a Member Since 2000, And The VOA,From The Beginning, My ACR Stryker Purple Paint ,With GTS Silver Stripes Is Complete, And The Car Is In engine And Chassis ,This Car Is The Very First Stryker Paint To Receive GTS Stripes, The Day I Ordered The Car, They Just Made Them Avalable, For The Stryker Colors, Heres The Hood Being Polished Out At Prefix. And The Rear Window Being Installed.

Thanks for all the hard work! I love the red stripe, and while I've considered doing vinyl the wing support will be black and the inside tips will be black too, requiring real paint... I just don't understand why a 1 of 1 can't include a red stripe... its not like I'm asking for custom striping at the factory or anything. They're gonna paint a black one, why not red? They just said they don't like the look of red on stryker... as I said, didn't stop a pink viper... not sure many would say they like the look of that... but I defend the buyer's right to have what they want!

I could have sworn I saw a post here about Stryker colors being three stage and that is the reason stripes were not offered on those colors. Oh, well now I have the correct info. Thanks again to all.

Well VIPER nation...
I have NO idea to what degree your humble OP has played in this decision, but I can tell you that I asked the Viper Concierge why they had decided to not allow red stripes, hit the "its not a 1 of 1 if you say no to certain colors or configs" etc....
Be that as it may, I heard today through the Viper Concierge that they have changed their mind, and you can now get red driver's stripes on Stryker colors...
Hooray! Thanks Dodge for changing your mind... I for one appreciate it!

Honestly, with the 1-of-1 program, we should be able to pick any color car, any color stripes. Limiting it to red and black only, is lame. Especially for $9500 stripes.
I have a few combos I'd consider ordering with the ACR stripes, but I do not want black or red stripes.

I think there are certain (legitimate) worries to color combos. If you've seen the "McDonald" Ferrari's you'd understand why. I can see why there are constraints on Red/Yellow cars. Green/Red is a hint of Christmas.
But, as others have stated, 1-of-1 is either you can do whatever or you can't.

They should at least open up all stripe color options to any available standard color that was used on Gen V cars.
TA orange, Comp blue, GTSR blue, white, GTS blue, etc... that would be a nice compromise.
