Id personally want the safety of the extra fuel tank and c16 like you did. Extra octane cant hurt in this situation

Where did you pass the nitrous lines through ? I cant find a decent passthrough on the firewall on driver or passenger footwells

We passed it through a rubber grommet that's right next to the brake booster

Sorry to chime in on this thread, but also thinking of putting the same kit on my Gen4. Was wondering if any of you guys running standalone fuel systems have thought of running E85 with the nitrous. So standard 93 octane in the car's tank and E85 only with the spray. Would just need to compensate and dial in the extra fuel. Thinking with the high octane rating of it, it would be a little extra added safety. Thoughts?

Good question , you'll need to pull 8 -10 degrees of timing out to stop pre ignition, when using Nitrous.

Junkie ran that setup for a while. I believe he said he ran a few hundred bottles through the car with no issues.
