I love the car I have now, its not about an investment for me, its the passion of owning one and the Great club that goes with it

I don't have the coin for another car or a Gen V, if cash was no issue I would buy a bigger home with more garage space and add more Vipers, there are not many other cars out there that hold my passion as much as this car

I don't plan on selling but handing the car over to my son when I can no longer drive it........He's got a long wait

I am not sure what you mean by "collector" car. I just bought my Viper from a car collector that has 50 vehicles and I am a collector. In my humble opinion, the Dodge Viper was, is and always will be a collector car. Fantastic looks, massive horsepower & torque, a factory race car-it's the real deal.

I do agree with you I believe it is already a collector car but what I believe and what people see as a collector can be different. I believe in 10-15 years we should see a nice increase in the value of our Vipers... I believe they will be similar to the AC Cobra in value in 20 years... Your Gen 3 is a real keeper.. When is it being delivered to you????

Talked to Reliable carriers today and they should be picking it up this week, maybe Thurs/Fri. Sheer torture! Thanks and I agree, I just love the Gen III's, more than the new ones. Not to get anyone mad or make waves but it is perfect for me and I love the design. Perfection for me, a real forever car. Been trying to find a vanity plate but it seems all the great ones are taken.

Not more likely to sell but am more likely to buy a very low mile Gen 1 or Gen 2. I really enjoy my Gen 5 as one to drive with the increased power and technology but would love to have a stock, low mile early Viper to hang onto and appreciate for what it meant to the automobile world. Will hope to find a deal I can't refuse in the next few months...

yes the next few months would be an ideal time to buy a generation 2 or you can possibly buy a generation 1 Viper... When I was searching for my Viper I notice it was cheaper in the fall / winter time however the prices will go up in the spring / summer time... However I did end up buying mine during the spring / summertime...

I did pay a premium when I purchased mine however it was the right Viper for me.... don't get me wrong I just saw a 2000 black GTS selling for what I paid for my rt/10 with around the same mileage... I am kinda kicking myself for purchasing it when I know the premium is higher... the only reason I can justify my 98 rt/10 for what I paid for it as I know for sure this car was never involved in any accidents and has absolutely no insurance claims on it something Carfax will not and cannot ever say... lol

When it comes to Vipers, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder; That adage has never been more true. Most cars, lets say Corvette's, have the good year cars and the not so desirable ones. This is not true for the Viper. Each year, model and option package is so rare and desirable that each car is very special. To go back up top, to me, all Vipers are collector's cars.

I'm likely to sell my Gen II for a Gen 5 ACR.

Please, everyone in the club sell me your cars. I really don't like them much but I'll pay a fair price to each and every one of you.

    Love,
