I'm glad to hear you haven't had an issue. Keep a close eye, though when it happens it's instantaneous. Some hoods had larger and more reliefs cut into them than others. It's only my front 2 vents and unfortunately there are notches all the way around that are very large, allowing for trivial contact with the clips. I'm just thankful when it's flown off a few times it hasn't chipped any paint or my windshield or struck another car on the road for that matter. I think double sided tape can help in some cases but not when the notches appear to be cut by a mischievous kid.

I just spoke with CAAP again about the new bezel and unless you are going to pull one off a brand new Extreme ACR the new bezell is still not available yet. I was just told again that they are doing everything they can to get me a new set off the assembly line and it was just brought up again with the Body/Exterior team that we need a set for my customer. They don't have enough to keep up with the ACR Extreme production as it is and they are pushing the supplier for more. They are now potentially going to try and go down to the shop to make a set for us.

Did not speak to the factory people Andy, I want to just get a new hood for him, there were a couple 13' hoods that had the same issue. You cannot get a pre painted part anymore from Prefix (Chryslers call) but Justin can have a body shop do the paint work if he can find a good one and then warranty should pay for that also.

I understand, we have been round and round with getting him a new hood. Multiple meetings, rep visits, multi DI's, multiple screens flying out after trying all of their fixes, ordering correct part numbers and getting the old revision in the new bags. If you can get one great, all I want is for him to be happy however it works out. It's been a pretty frustrating ordeal for all of us.
