14' Viper TA from RapidRezults! New Member...

2014 Viper TA I purchased from RapidRezults will be delivered Friday! I was searching the forum and luckily saw a post by RapidRezults and in his signature i saw ...for sale soon... Shot him a message and here we are! This was as good as a car buying experience can be. I buy and sell cars fairly often and have had good and bad experiences but this was the best. Very upfront and knowledgable about his car, his maintenance, track time and modifications. So THANK YOU SIR!

Car has a beautiful carbon steering wheel and the ViperExchange/DSC Suspension which I'm very excited to try out. I track all my cars at the local tracks, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow and Auto Club Speedway. So looking forward to seeing how I do and how it compares to some of my previous cars and their lap times!

    Some lap times...

    Just sold
991 GTS 7 Speed, tracked it on stock Pirelli Pzero
    WSIR - 1:33:8
    Buttonwillow C13 - 1:58:4

Had a 2010 ZR1 before the Porsche on Pilot Sport Cup 2
    WSIR - 1:30:9
    Buttonwillow C13 - 1:56:4 and 1:53:7 (friend's old hoosier r6 hand me downs)

    E92 M3 with Aero/ hankook Rs3
    WSIR - 1:30:9
    Buttonwillow C13 - 1:57:7 (pre repave)

    Boss 302 Hankook Rs3
    WSIR - 1:32:8
    Buttonwillow C13 - 2:02

    I dont do much straight line racing but I did Vbox a supercharged e92 M3 I had and it ran 60-130 in 8.7, my 997.2 GT3 was 9.6 and my C63 P31 was low 10s i believe
Pictures usually make a thread better so here are some of the previous cars! Looking forward to the Viper!

Welcome! You bought a great Viper from a good guy. Get involved with the SoCal viper group, lots of support and great people. A number of us were at Willow last weekend. Best wishes, Mike

Congrats. You have two of the arguably best showroom stock, truly track ready cars money can buy. I'm eager to hear your comparison/lap times between the two on your home tracks. Any mods to the Teutonic beast?

Love your first 991 GTS picture, the stance of the car is just perfect. This is one area where the Viper can do better stock. BTW, Socalviper is having a Car Control Clinic at the Autoclub Speedway on Oct. 24, hope you can make it.

Pretty impressive right? That's no driver, half tank of gas. Although my car had very little options and manual.

    Sam,

Thank you for the kind words. Normally I hate selling cars, but this was as smooth as could be. I was kinda bummed I didn't get to try the Tractive suspension on the track, but thankfully I can live through you and see what kind of laps you can put down! Congrats bro, it will be there soon!

Of course. Feel like I've made a new gearhead friend and got a new car! Well if you're ever at a track day with me you're more than welcome to take your old friend out on the track and test the suspension out.

Sam, welcome! I'm glad you got Chris's car, however I have a bone to pick with you. You bought his car just before he was going to track with me at Buttonwillow and show me what that Tractive suspension will do.

All is forgiven if you track with your Viper brethren at Buttonwillow and join us for dinner at Willow Ranch for BBQ, lol

I'm going to be in Mexico from October 14-19th. So I won't make it. But I'll be at WSIR Nov1 and I think buttonwillow soon after. Would of loved to make it but have a wedding in Mexico. I always track with Speed District. Been out with Speed Ventures a few times too

Weddings in Mexico always trump pretty much everything, my lady and I are planning a trip to Cabo.

Ever track Laguna Seca? Your Viper is about ~94 dB stock so the only time you can track there is a rare high-dB day. We've got 5 Vipers so far, plus my friends in their GT3 and C7 Z06. Sign up with NorCal Shelby Club, it's a 105 dB event. I run in the Green group, you can't run in Blue group unless you have an aftermarket roll bar.

I will send out an invite soon for the track event plus dinner at Tarpy's and and an after-dinner party at a VOA member's house.

    Hope you can join us.

    Todd
