New Viper owner here and I'm trying to get a set of Roe Smooth Tubes on; in order to do so it appears I need to get the stock air box "loose" to allow the tubes to be installed. I'm able to get the filter portion of the box out just fine (using the clips and retainer screw with the aluminum knob) but am struggling with the part of the air box that remains mounted to the car. It also has two aluminum knobbed screws on it, near the front, but they will not budge at all. I took a towel (to protect the knobs) and a pliers and they both refused to rotate. What am I overlooking? It has to be something obvious. I'd hate to damage the air box doing something stupid just trying to get the smooth tubes on.
