He's going to spray. Running tonight if weather holds up.
Mannys CTS-V gets it man, it'll be a good race imo. I've known him for a really long time, its setup similar to my old caddy.
3.27 or 3.33 would work perfect, unfortunately know body will make the fucking gear set. I tried and tried and tried and tried. The M&H 345 is good for a few more mph FYI, its a 28" tire vs 27.6 or so.
How did the run vs the V go, was it close? Assume we have to wait for video to actually know the outcome.
That 8 sec pass in the V is insane - fun to watch. How the heck did it hook like that?
Driving home now. V won by 1-2 cars
Gen Vs are no joke... Awesome. Loss by only 1-2 cars is actually a win in my book when comparing what that car has and runs.
So now the 300 pills go in?
The V is really fast! First run I was in front the whole race and right at the end he went by showing some good MPH. Second run he spun and let off. By then I had gone through 2nd and 3rd gear. When we set up again my bottle pressure was low. He stayed in front the whole race and pulled like 2 cars. Anyways the video will tell the story. Should be up in about a week. There are 2 other races they need to finish up before this one.
One of my bottle heaters broke last night. I think I'm going to get a nano kit. Waiting to hear back from Nitrous Outlet. I'm tired of dealing with pressure issues.
LOL. No man. I'm not going to get greedy. Staying with the 250. I think the nano kit will help. It should make more power in 4th gear with nano kit cause my pressure will be constant.
CTS V owner made this video.
That V started pulling pretty hard once it got moving. You ran him as hard as you could, no shame in that loss.
Not a bad outcome. Top end is tough to beat without a SC or Turbo.
LOL^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I'm going to try and find a solution for the bottle pressure issue. Lets say I'm making 900whp at 1100psi now with the 250 jets. I'm going to try the 300 jets at 900psi. That should help keep the same bottle pressure through out the whole run cause a full bottle never goes much lower than that.
I'm going to dyno as is with the pressure at 1100psi. Then lower the pressure, put the 300 jets and try to tune it to make the same power.
We'll see how it goes!
paul, the nano will help when you are doing multiple runs. It will extract all HP every time.
1-2 cars in not bad vs a 156 car. you did well brother. IMO you car is trapping around 150-152 with no power shifting. i would add 3 mph when power shifting(stock clutch will explode) best bet is maybe try 300. But at this point you might be asking for problems. The way i see it , there will always be someone faster and chasing each car will lead to blowing motor. if the car runs 152 , the car runs 152.
you car has deified the odds for years. RESPECT! STOCK AND N20.
I hear ya Sam. I'm not trying to make more power. I just want a constant pressure. Look at the difference from the first run vs the second. The 300 shot at 900 psi may not make as much as my current 250 at 1100 psi? But if the car makes way over 900whp with the 300 jets then I won't do it.
