For what it is worth, I talked with the V owner and he said he spun some on the 1st run and dead hooked on the 2nd run (in video) where he pulled out immediately so it may not be so much bottle pressure but just he got traction. Said he spun some on first run and had to chase you down, 2nd run he spun real bad and had to let out so he didn't hit you (not in video) and 3rd run he dead hooked and pulled out immediately by what he said was about 2 cars.

Right... that's the pressure issue I'm talking about. The second run where he spun and let off made me loose pressure for the 3rd race. I made a 2nd and 3rd gear pull, then saw he had let off. That resulted me starting the 3rd run at about 950 or so. Not saying I would win, his car is obviously faster. First run was all I had and he drove around me.

I ran my stock against a tuned GT2 earlier, it pulls off crazy when the turbos kick in. But I had a better luck when we rolled at 120 km/h rather than 80 km/h. Was fun !

    Nice driving pdv25!

Great runs! That orange TA is an absolute BEAST!! Remember: We are comparing a fully built motor $$$$$ (****forced induction + NOS****) CTS-V against a bone stock long-block Viper + NOS. Let's keep everything in perspective here. Put forced induction on the Viper and it's lights out for the CTS-V. Not disrespecting the blown Vette powered Caddy...just sayin'. Good runs! I think everyone on planet earth (who has half a brain) has crazy respect for your TA.

1-2 cars in not bad vs a 156 car. you did well brother. IMO you car is trapping around 150-152 with no power shifting. i would add 3 mph when power shifting(stock clutch will explode) best bet is maybe try 300. But at this point you might be asking for problems. The way i see it , there will always be someone faster and chasing each car will lead to blowing motor. if the car runs 152 , the car runs 152.

you car has deified the odds for years. RESPECT! STOCK AND N20.
A fresh factory clutch is fine at this power and power shifting....

[QUOTE=pdv25;168335]It's staying as is for now. I would probably do 3:27 gear, but I'm not sure if they make it. That should be good for 160+mph at the top of 4th.

paul i think you should check with RPM Transmission
www.rpmtransmissions.com they make custom gear ratio based on your set up application brother
