Full ARH and Arrow PCM on my 2016 ACR

So before Viper Exchange had even taken delivery of the ACRs I had the guys at American Racing Headers send me a set of their headers, no cats and cat back so it was just a waiting game for the car. Andy got in touch with Arrow Racing to make sure that the PCMs would work on the new ACRs and sure enough they did. Dodge did change up the exhaust tip exit but you can see the oval ARH tip still fits good. Thanks Andy and Morgan for getting me in and out on the PCM.

Did you happen to do any more than 2 baseline pulls? Curious how Gen Vs react, my IV got stronger with every pull during the first 5.

What's next? They need a DSE heat shield?

I just did the two, it was good ole hot and humid Houston weather. We did do three post dyno pulls today and the power actually kept dropping but again its still super hot and humid here. IATs at start were 118-120* with the dyno being 96*. I will add the DSE heat shield and getting some carbon pieces from Wayne but that's about it, ready to hit the track.

Maybe because the silver pieces on the 13-15s get really sooty and look like shi!.

I wonder if black powder coat would hold up on the inside. I hate to say it, black grill paint or header paintmay work

After I burnt the paint on my Gen 3 sidesill exits, I masked off the area and painted them with black grill paint. Works like a champ.

Cody, we need an MSR day when I get back. Might have to wait until after SEMA though.

I wonder why they changed the exhaust outlet/sill on the 2016s? Cost? Not only is the color different the whole outlet area is shaped different.

I believe it's only on the ACR.

Those exhaust ports are for the ACR's only and I think it's an aero thing. Cody thanks for the business as well. Solid Gaines on a car with hardly any miles. There's at least 10rwhp on the table as that motor loosens up and most likely another 5-7 in pulled timing due to the IAT's being so high. Thanks for the info and being first to start modding your new ACR

And yes we need to sneak out to MSR baddddddddddd.

What is the cost of this combination: ARH Headers, Arrow PCM and Catback? I'm estimating $2,900 for the headers, $1,100 for the PCM and $1,300 for the Corsa catback, no cats. Does $5K excluding labor sound about right? I'm contemplating doing a similar setup as the OP or going all-in with the heads/cam package. This is an addiction.

I would skip the Corsa and just go with the full ARH system which uses a similar sound/style muffler, just my opinion as I've had both now. $4275 I believe for the ARH system.

Beautiful car and congrats on the gains.

    Couple questions -

The high flow cats between the ARH and Belanger's - from what I've read, Belanger uses a CA spec cat, and ARH uses a 49 state cat, so the cats are different, do we think there'll be a difference in preserving the "no CEL" with a full ARH system with only using a 49 state cat? I ask because I've seen this on other perf cars, with moving to a non-CA rated cat and even though they say no CEL, they do, a swap to a CA rated one and CEL is gone. Or are the cats on both systems really the same ... or?

OP: since you have a ACR now, can you describe the street manners, how it drives on regular roads for us? I know many are very interested in this. And, just out of curiosity, what does the 3 speaker stereo sound like .. that is if you've even turned it on.
