drag tires and wheels (ABS car

What are the options for someone with a viper with abs
I've seen drag wheels n tires for sale here for 1000$
But I always get the same answer "they won't fit the viper with ABS"

I'm not a drag racer but I like going to the track every now and then and I would like to have a set of wheels with some sticky tires on it for those special occasions...
is my only option to buy a set of 18 inch rims (stock size)and buy some drag radials for them?
    Like a 315/35/18 Mickey Thompson

    Thanks in advance

I just bought a used set of gen 1 tri spokes 17" and plan on putting a set of Hoosier DOT drag radials on them. They actually make a 335, 17 tire.

The rear caliper on ABS cars is a bit larger. However, I have not tested myself to see if a 17" wheel's inner diameter will clear the ABS caliper.

However, an 18" original wheel clearly does. I've seen folks putting stock Viper wheels up on craigslist all the time. I've seen wheels with some "cosmetic" issues go for $150 to $250 each. Mickey Thompson makes ET Street S/S tires in a 345/35 R18 for about $600 for the pair. For about $1100 you could have wheels and brand new tires.

We are running those same tires on an 18" HRE rim. They hook pretty good with 1k whp. Would definitely recommend.

    Thanks guys
That's what I was thinking I'm gonna have to do..I'll like to know if the 17 inch rim fits so I can get a pretty decent tire on the car..but 18 will work as well I guess!
