Curious as to the results/headaches of e85 on the Gen V.

I wouldn't bother with e85. Aside from needing bigger injectors and a new fuel pump and tuning, if you let E85 sit for any length of time it gums everything up.
Never a fan of E85 unless you drive the car a lot. If you are the type that lets the car sit weeks on at a time.. Then you'll have to replace the fuel in the tank when you know you're u won't be driving for a while and then run regular for a few miles before putting the car away. In other words.. Pain in the rear. Lol
My personal thoughts.
I left the Supra world after my fourth one for a couple reasons. One of which was the fact you needed high octane race fuel to make anything over 700whp. I ran VP Import (116) but many run E85. We can argue about the consistency and efficiency of E85 but why convert? One of the greatest aspects of the Viper is its 8.4L engine which allows for very high power outputs on good old 93oct.
Can those words even be used in the same sentence? LOL.
The only advantage is the cooling effect it has on the cylinder for high boost applications. You can argue price per gallon, but it requires so much more fuel its no longer an advantage over race gas. It had its day when regular pimp gas was approaching 5 bucks a gallon, but at today's prices it's a waste. Not to mention the low rpm fuel resolution you loose from large injectors, good luck getting it to idle when all the injector can do is dribble into the intact tract.
*Pump gas. Damn fat fingers.
Thanks gang. My tuner wouldn't go any more aggressive on my tune unless I was running race gas.. I know some folks running e85 on other cars so I thought I'd see if it was an option.. thanks for all the help !

I think Ed T III did this with one of his... will ping him for you...
Yes. Ordered Tires... not pretty without them ;-)
Junkies Installer, John and Jason at Anything Automotive in Denton, TX and Junkies Tuner. James Karger. They did a great job and were quick... having done it before.
Really like the NOS Controller. I went ahead and bought a new computer, HP Tuner Pro Interface, and the credits so I can tune later as needed.
Drove it out there to break it in... drove it back for fun. Got 18.8mpg on the way home.. ;-) On the motor tune. Nice to be able to swap between tunes in less than 5 minutes.
They wouldn't go any higher than 250 without me committing to race gas in the main tank also.

E85 isn't worth it unless you are going for boost. Hope that helps!
