Wow, 2 check engine lights in 1 week!

It has been a great summer!

Odometer just passed 9000km last week, and I have no major complaints, except that it needs exhaust and some tint.

I'm set up to see the dealer on Thursday to check it out, but I want to run this by the group to see if anyone else has seen this. I don't remember reading about it.

Leaving a show last weekend the engine light came on, P0801, Reverse Lockout Control something or other. Everything felt fine, so I had a buddy clear it with his code reader. Some quick hunting showed some issues in the past with SRT Rams and earlier Vipers, but nothing really recent.

Out cruising last night, it came on again but I wasn't really surprised this time. I thought the car was acting a bit funny Sunday night, it started oddly and I was sure I felt a bit of "throttle hang" where it didn't really want to idle down to normal in traffic (my 01 GTS used to do this once in a while too, but not very often.) This time the code was P0014 Bank 1 Camshaft 2 Position, Target Performance.

It looks like both codes have something to do with the PCM, but it's all way above my head, so they will figure it out on Thursday.

I think the car is starting to get an attitude because it knows it's going to get parked and ignored for 6 months of hibernation. lol

    Have a good day guys!

P0801 is irrelevant, well sort of, it prevents the gear shift gate from going into the reverse position while moving forward. Happened on my 2013 a dozen or so times. Annoying.

So I brought the car in today, and on the drive in I noticed the oil pressure was going crazy. They found a faulty sending unit, so that is getting fixed tomorrow. The other codes have been cleared or figured out, so I should be back to normal by the weekend.

What's all that white stuff on the ground this time of year? Ha! Ha! (kidding, I grew up in Sask and unfortunately know the white stuff well. Thankfully just a little later in the year here in Colorado)
