Wind noise on side windows near mirrors

Just bought a 2016 Viper GT.
I notice wind noise at the driver window at around 40mph and higher. Nothing looks wrong that I can see. Maybe its happening at the passenger window as well. I read something about turbulence around the side mirrors. Is any one else experiencing this?

    Thanks,

This is solved by winding the window down and leaving it there. Then the exhaust will drown out any wind noise.

    Sorry, couldn't resist.

You can call Mark J at Woodhouse, he's posted about this and playing with cars to quiet it down, he probably has a trick or two or three, he always does.

I think there was a fix on the 13/14s that involved a new inner channel where the weatherstripping is on the upper channel where the window goes into.

I have a 15 and have noticed this as well and likley subjective to the tolerances of the person driving it. Myself, I am kinda pissed after spending 6 figures that my brick of a GMC truck is much quieter then my viper @ highway speeds. There is nothing I have found to fix the wind noise around the mirror other then rolling the window down...

Hey, thanks for replying. I have a call into SRT and waiting to hear back from Dustin. He's the viper specialist there. They gave a case number so I'm waiting to hear back from him. I'll let you know what he says.

    Thanks,
I picket up a 2015 GT in July, and my passenger side has a slight hit of air entering the car at highway
    speeds.

This is a known issue and you need to get your seals replaced. It's a foam liner and the wind noise is a high pitch noise that drives people insane. Go to your dealer, tell them to pull the seal off and replace the foam weather-stripping / seals. Part numbers can be found on my posts on the forum
