Awesome. The "consumables" should be relatively economical to repair and more durable than a carbon piece.

Crazy the price they charge for those stripes. I mean, you could have dropped the price near $9k and just brought a vinyl guy in to do it for $500. Who cares if it is not under the paint, it is a race car. Re-vinyl a different color after every season. Looks awesome but not $9k extra awesome.

Agreed on the stripe pricing. Super dumb. My local custom painter would only charge about 2K to lay those down on a car.

That dealer sure knows how to make a statement.

Agree about the stripes, i personally think I will get tired or bored of any one combination. The only combination I absolutely could live forever would be the GTSR blue with dual white racing stripes, that was a match made in Viper heaven.

They are beautiful, but when you get to a point of another $10k in paint, I couldn't even think of tracking those cars. For me they'd be garage queens and C&C duty cars. Base color and xpel/vinyl to me is the way to go. Only option I could personally opt for is to have the dealer strengthen the radio, as a compromise for the little lady when doing track commuting and club events, she's spoiled now by my current system. But, I definitely understand the buyers of these, what stunning cars, they'll drop jaws at any track or car show, now and 30 years from now.

Agreed. I'm already bored of the white, black and red, and I ordered one like that. These cars look so good in almost every color combo I feel like I'll never be satisfied. It's that "i want what he has" syndrome every time I see another combo. Lol.

While I did get ripped on the stripes, I will do everything to preserve them. I was thinking 2x Xpel on the front, has anyone heard of this being done before?

White/black/red is one of the best combos. Great choice, IMO

That Stryker purple on Ebay is SWEET! I thought dealers couldn't order Stryker purple for dealer stock? Orange yes, but not purple

Chris, there will be so few Gen V ACRs around that your white/black/red will still feel rare. There were about 33 Stryker Reds made, to this day I have only seen one other in CA. If that's the color that calls to you, you will never tire of it.

Regarding Xpel, what I'm gonna do is have 1x layer of clear wrap. Then when I go to the track, I will apply Road Warrior Plus. Brush on, track, hose off. It's supposed to be thick and protective yet easy to rinse off. I'll find out soon.

Hey, make sure you register for the Oct 6 VOA Dinner Meeting at Normandin Dodge. There's a chance that there will be an Extreme ACR there!

Not all dealers are created equally.

I also wonder if ones being allowed to be order for stock that aren't Tomball/Woodhouse/ROMOCO, Dodge has told the dealers they won't be bailing them out this go around with incentives.

I think it's the best ACR color combo bar none, and I would get the same one.
They made that same scheme on the Gen IV ACR and it was amazing.
