Hello all, I'm looking for a torque plate for our engine rebuild. If anyone has one for sale or for rent please let me know.
Thanks!

Not sure if you have already tried, but give Arrow Racing a call, that's where I purchased mine from. They were around $650 for the pair last time I bought them back in 2011. I have sold them since then.

If I were to do it all over again. I would ship the block out to a reputable viper engine machine shop (Arrow, Greg Good, Nelson, etc...) I don't know if your machining the whole block, but the critical thing on these blocks is when they align hone it. If they cut into the block and raise the centerline, that effects the timing chain and will also effect the alignment of the oil pump gears. The alignment of that gear is what puts most blocks out quickly if not done correctly. It may cost a little more for those shops, but in the long run you will be glad you did. The assembly can be done easily if you have patience and a keen eye, the machining of the block is the part you don't want to mess around with.
I agree Twin, the machining is super important and we would love to have it done by one of the big shops, however they are so far away. Our concern is more with the shipping of the block off so far away. I guess there is a little comfort knowing that we can jump in the truck and drive an hour or so away and drop the block off or pick it up and know exactly how it was handled. The cost didn't see too high when we were quoted from Arrow for caps and align boring/honing.
