I believe Dave has "experimented" with over 50 Shades of Gray.....not sure why he settled on that particular shade, other than it was a cheap shade....

Hood? Not that I am aware of. Front fascia for the Gen III/IV. Vipair swears there is a gen V fascia for the Gen IIs but I have never seen it.

If you find out there is indeed a hood I bet a lot of people would want to know, please post about it.

Autoform was designing a GEN-V style update for our GEN-II hoods. Several designs were posted in a variety of colors, etcetera. Lots of interest. Price point was expected to be under $4k. Haven't heard any recent updates on it however. It did look really nice IMO and even had accommodations for a larger space for bigger superchargers....whoohooo.

May have to switch if available, someone asked me why I had speakers on my hood at a car show a few weeks ago...

Lord knows Dave has ruffled feathers and been on the wrong side of some arguments but it kind of makes it hard for anyone to redeem themselves around here. Post helpful information, get wrongly accused of being a capitalist at the expense of other members and chastised for not taking that kind of crap. What a great club. Can't wait to renew.

When I crashed my first G2. The insurance company told me that the hood cost from a dealer was $20083.00 at the time (about 7yrs ago) and junked my car on that price basis.
