Just received my '14 Orange T/A! Stoked! Thanks Viper Exchange!

This thing is wicked!

A little background info:

I've been a vette guy for a while (procharged C5 Z06, cammed C6 Z06). I had a blast with my C6 Z06 as I road raced it, roll raced it, and everything in between. I sold it about 18 months ago and have been itching to get back into something ever since. I've always loved the T/A's since I saw that T/A Orange

.

Starting a few months back I just couldn't keep myself from searching. I reached out to various forum members and dealers telling them to let me know if something popped up. A few weeks ago I got an email from Courtney and Bernie at Viper Exchange that they had an incoming Orange T/A with 3500 miles and I was first on the list. A week or so prior, I had already been contacted by another dealer regarding a car, but had found out that it was #31 (a press car) which I declined. First thing I asked Courtney was, "WHAT VIN IS IT?!". She told me it was Vin number 2 and I found the previous owner on here (trackratviper). I reached out to him and he had a lengthy conversation with me answering all my questions about the car. The car was tracked, but taken care of. Since I'd be tracking the car too, I would much rather have a well cared-for car that was driven, than a garage queen that has been sitting for a year. I also found out that the car had Belanger headers and exhaust already installed

When Courtney and Bernie got eyes on the car they said it was in incredible condition. They took every little picture I requested and answered all my questions. We agreed on a fair price, they overnighted documents to me, and the deal was done. Only problem was, I was traveling for the next two weeks and couldn't take delivery of the car (longest two weeks EVER). Since it was going to be sitting there, I had Andy install the DSE heatshield on the car. I told them the day I would return and they handled all the shipping arrangements to get the car to me in CA. Not only was this my most expensive vehicle purchase to date, but it was my first purchase sight unseen!

Fast forward to this lovely morning. I received the car and it is, indeed, in amazing shape. The car looks brand new. Drives incredible. And wow, does it sound good with headers! Guess I need to change my username, huh?

I want to thank Courtney, Bernie, and Andy at Viper Exchange for putting my faith back into dealerships. The transaction was incredibly easy and they lived up to every promise. I also want to thank Darius for getting the T/A bug in me after letting me drive his car, and Ryan for constantly being on the hunt for me (ironic that we both are named Ryan F. and have Orange T/A's! haha).

PS, it only took me 10 minutes to figure out how to pop the hood

I'm stoked to be a part of the club! The car will participate in everything from track days to half mile racing as my company, Shift-S3ctor, hosts various automotive events. Ain't no garage queen here!

Congratulations! I too ordered/bought my Viper through Bernie and had Andy install the Arrow Controller and lowering caps. Those guys at Viper Exchange are awesome and have a loyal customer for life! I traded in my 3rd Vette, a Grand Sport and don't miss Vettes at all!
