Had to change the door hinge on my 98 rt/10 on the driver's side. What a bitch. First off, removing the hinges is not the problem. The first problem was finding the disconnect of the wires for the door so the door could be removed. When you look in the manual it shows that the disconnect is behind the pillar, but it is not so. The disconnect was under the dash, and had to remove the black plastic covering, then loosen up the steel cross bars, and finally got to be able to disconnect and pull the wires through. After removing the door, and first scribing both hinges, we put the new hinge back on, exactly where the old one was, and when we connected the door to the body, guess what, the door was not aligned, which I did not understand, because it was the exact hinge, going in the exact spot, but after a half hour or forty-five minutes of loosening, moving the door up and down, we finally got it aligned. I hope no other door hinge spring goes on me again, but at least I learned how to do it, and would be confident in doing it again.
