Do NOT wait, install the McLeod asap. Also remember the Don Garlits saying, "real men race in any DA".

Jack it's still in the mid 90's here and humid. I'm on Hoosiers with the factory clutch so I would think I might get three track days on that combo so yes I'm waiting for better weather before having to pull everything back a part again.

That's fine. I'll go to Texas then. Hey Andy, do you have a spare room?

Seriously though. TRC and I have been talking and are planning a trip. If you can find some runs for the supra and my car we might go.

Cool he's also running same cars, same day, same drag strip. In our internet world today if I went out and trapped 135mph right now in 90 degree heat 99% of people online will immediatly say that the package isn't worth it because they don't understand DA the way some of us do and what it does to trap speeds and 1/4 times in general. You and I knowing full well the same car in much better weather will trap much higher and run much quicker. Trust me I get the emails here at VE and you wouldn't believe what the general public perceives as reality. Again I will gladly run the 1/4 when it start to cool down. I just road raced the car all last weekend at COTA so it's not like I haven't been tracking the package looking for weak points and performance differentials. Working at ViperExchange I drive bolton cars back to back with the Heads and Cam cars which is probably something most people don't get to do, and I can tell you that the Heads and Cam cars same driver behind the wheel are deffinetly faster.

We will get plenty of testing done within the next couple months.

    Andy

Ok, you guys should come up and run Runway Rivalry. Alex (Slowhatch) did very well there last year with his bolton Gen IV. I plan on running my car there this year. It's a 1000rwhp cap so your car on the spray should run towards the top of the fastest class and the bolton cars would trap around the top of the middle class.

Will's Nitrous TA did very well at RR, and so did Alex's car. The cutoff is 1100whp, but with the torque the Vipers make on spray, it's hard to run them down before the finish line if you get a good hit. No RR this year, they are planning to do one in April of 2016.

Are these packages from arrow through viper exchange available or going to be available for the Gen IV's? I'm just impatient ever since I heard about the Sledgehammer Supercharger, I cannot wait until that comes out. Sign me up

Would be beneficial to them to have there's out before everyone else starts putting pro chargers their cars, which seems to be happening well before mid 2016.

Want to take an big ego bust on DA, come to Colorado. Our poor cars need a Head and Cam package to even attempt to product basic factory HP at sea level. Ha! Ha! Only forced induction can help equalize that altitude difference. You guys in the lower altitudes have it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy and good. We breathe through a straw up here. Then again it is beautiful, like living on Mount Olympus so I am sure it evens out.

Any update on the flyby video, or at least a WOT from outside? That thing sounds so nasty it actually gets me excited about the way the V10 sounds again.

I tried it a few times but an iPhone just does not do it any justice. Have a buddy with a real camera and mic and we will try it soon.

On the topic of the supercharger, the package will not be offered for cars that have existing heads and cam packages, correct? This is one of the reasons I am holding out on the H/C package, as I would hate to spend the money on that and then have to revert back to stock to make the arrow supercharger kit work.
