    FCA/GM Merger

Just saw this article. Don't know if it is old news but I think it would be profoundly stupid for FCA to merge with GM.

They would simply re badge the Viper as the new Corvette and for the first time actually be correct in their claim to be Americas best sports car

Wouldn't there be an anti trust issue here with this?

Me thinks Sergio should just retire. Run the company or don't run it. Doesn't need GM to survive. Guy is turning out to be a crackpot.

Actually having heard Sergio speak last week at the FCA dealer conference you couldn't be more wrong. He is VERY intelligent, especially when it comes to the automotive industry. I will say he does support mergers and thinks that they will be necessary for some to survive but not necessarily FCA. He specifically said in his speech that FCA is not actively seeking a merger at this time. He also went on to say that he believes the landscape of auto industry will look vastly different in the next 10-20 years.
