    Code P0135

    is this a common problem for cars with after market exhaust and headers. Code P0135 (O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1). Car is a 2002 GEN II GTS with 8K on the odometer. Thanks

    I had that same code. It occurred with the quick fire 02 sensors. I replaced them and the problem went away.

    I had that code when I put Belangers on. I wasted my money on the quick fire sensors like others as they did not solve the problem. Which BTW, they are just a Walker sensor. I solved the sensor problem by adding starting fuel for faster warmup and use the correct OEM sensors once again.

    So you now add starting fluid each time you start the car ?

    lol no programming the fuel is permanent so I "added more fuel" once.
