Fall Cruise

Hi guys and gals!! I understand that you have some scheduling conflicts for this year's Fall cruise. I have one planned , but the dates may change to the weekend of the 10th 11th. Still working out the details. Will keep you all posted.

That's what I'm shooting for certainly. Currently we're planning some kind of fall cruise in Des Moines over the weekend of the 10-11th October. More details to come, but what we really need to know is how many people will come. Who's interested? Let me know.

•*February 8, 2015 - Holiday party at Biaggis at 4 p.m. Bring your check book or your cash for some great raffle items.

•*March 15, 2015 - Club meeting 1 p.m. at Keith's house located at 10308 Pinehurst ave.

•*April 10, 2015 – First day to hang out at Don & Millie’s

•*April 18, 2015 - Open cruise date (TBD)

•*April 25-26, 2015 - Alternate open cruise date or potential track day with Porsche Club (TBD) 6 cars needed minimum

•*May 2, 2015 - Cars and coffee 156th Maple Hyvee 7 a.m.-9 a.m. (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

•*May 15, 2015 – Meet and Greet at Don & Millie’s for HiPo Mopar show

•*May 16, 2015 – HiPo Mopar Show (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

•*May 22, 2015 – Wounded Warriors Night at Don & Millie’s – Make a $20 donation and get a t-shirt and free meal (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

•*June 5-7, 2015 – Viper Rendezvous More Information to Follow We are looking for a big turn out

•*June – Midtown Crossing (date TBD)

•*July – Du-Rite Fireworks Party (date TBD)

•*July 10, 2015 – Wounded Warriors Night at Don & Millie’s – Make a $20 donation and get a t-shirt and free meal (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

•*August 16, 2015 (?) – Wounded Warrior Car Show

•*September 4, 2015 – Culver’s in Lincoln on 27th and Superior

•*September 12, 2015 - HMM car show at Performance Bellevue

•*September 19-20, 2015 – Track Event at Pacific Junction - $350 for both days – need 6 to 8 Vipers to get a separate Viper Group

•*October 2-4, 2015 – Crossroad Redline Cruise Des Moines (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

•*October 25, 2015 – Haunted Garage Mopar Show at Don & Millie’s. **Trick or Treating from 4:00-6:00 p.m. (Mandatory Club Event Participation Requested)

That was my understanding as well, but it seems that there is a scheduling conflict for the weekend of the 3rd 4th. There is a huge car show that would be clogging our cruise route that weekend and we would prefer not to have to dodge several hundred cars with 20 fast moving vipers. That could get exciting for all the wrong reasons. As of right now, we are still planning on hosting an event here in Des Moines the weekend of the 10th 11th and all of you that can are very welcome to attend. I will need a head count soon though and I will let you know what I find out on shirts for this year. (I won't be getting any if there's no people coming since they cost me money to get them made.) Please let me know if anyone can make it. I will be opening the event up to surrounding regions as well and we are hoping for 20 cars or more this year.

The event was on the calendar, however the planning of the event got dropped and was too late to move forward. Scheduling conflicts with the Des Moines folks and date changes stopped the planning process. We are still looking to have a possible low key event in Des Moines, but no real concrete dates have been determined. So events around the original times were made here in Omaha.

Hope to see everyone this fall at some point.

Count me in.

I was told what a great event it was and I have been looking forward to it. I was disappointed to see it get dropped off of the club schedule after the meeting last weekend with no real explanation of what happened.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help with the event. If there are costs involved that you or the club would normally pay for I would be willing to help with that too if needed.
