When I saw this story it broke my heart. I still remember police video from years back. That and the fact just before the accident he gave some kids some goodies at the gas station. The world needs more people like Batman..

Either way, it's a real tragedy as he brought a lot of joy to kids and that is a beautiful thing.

He must have made them so happy. When you catch them at the right age, they don't know that it isn't actually batman. He is the real deal to them as far as they knew. How magical a moment that must have been for these kids. As far as I know, he didn't skimp on the visits either. He spent a lot of time and his own resources doing this.

As sad as it is, perhaps the silver lining is we can all take a moment to think and realize that we all have a way to reach out to and help those who need it a little bit of positivity in their lives. In whatever way that may be.
