On another note about how much weight does the package add to the car? Just thinking about how one could offset the weight with Ti exhaust, Braille battery or similar weight saving methods. Not that any of that is absolutely necessary just curious.
We aren't willing to risk running out of fuel and in general hate boost-a-pumps due to the fact that if they fail, especially on stock ECU, you're screwed.
Our complete fuel system consists of a D3PE multi-pump hanger, all Teflon (PTFE) feed and return lines, fuel pressure regulator, our D3PE rails, and injectors, with a controller and hobbs switch for staging pumps as needed.
I'm curious how the the front mount inter-cooler affects the water temp and A/C operation in stop and go traffic in the heat.

I have had cars running KB boost-a-pumps on them for for over 100K miles, have never seen one fail. I have however seen plenty of walbrow pumps used on multiple pump set-up's fail. And on vipers ditching the factory fuel bucket always seems to cause problems when running less then 1/2 a tank of gas.
Your supercharger kit looks very nice but for me the fuel system is a hang up. I have just seen so many problems with aftermarket total fuel systems over the yrs I just think it's better to leave the stock stuff in place. It may be something you want to look into or even a in tank pump up-grade that leaves all the stock lines and pressure control, because I'm not the only person out there that feels this way.

Also agree. Spent ridiculous money on after market fuel system on a R32 GTR with dual this, oversized that, swirl pot, aftermarket everything. I should have just put a booster pump and oversized fuel line in and called it a day.
I don't want to rip out the entire stock fuel system just to add $3000 because it looks cool.
Flip side is I would be ok with updated injectors and maybe raising the fuel rail pressure. What's the limitations of the stock system before we rip it all out just for fun
In my opinion D3 Performance knows what they are doing those guys did an awesome job so far as you all know the blue viper that been built by D3 so basically they know everything about the viper and plus they are still in the testing process
This is not a GT500 its a VIPER you guys talking about .. Its an 8.4L .. I do trust D3 their cars do the talking on the strip and this is enough for me.
Ill just wait and see how things will go am just excited for this kit and can't wait to have it.

That blue car is a full tilt race with built motor, auto trans and gets trailered to events!! How can you compare?!! We are talking street cars, and street car-like reliability. 1000hp is a 1000hp. It will require a specific amount of fuel regardless of what platform. The GT500's have been doing it for years, reliably. This is a stock motor car, that they are looking to make reliable power on. It's not a far fetched idea to keep the fueling system simple. Again like you said if D3 feels this return system is necessary then it is. It will probably turn away lots of buyers, and hike the price up substantially but it will be a solid kit.

It certainly is not. GT500s have strong, robust, competitive aftermarket support.
Viper aftermarket support has black holes like RSI (where good cars go, to never be seen or run again...) or even further back Hennessey...
So the community is more than eager to see a thorough, top quality shop like D3 Performance step up their support of the platform.
Evan and the guys at D3PE start these threads to share their projects and to hear back from interested members of the Viper community.
No point guessing what will or won't work. Injectors are installed and piping is drying with the new coating. Pulled the hanger to confirm there is a healthy TI Auto pump in it from the factory so we'll re-assemble all the piping tomorrow and wire in a BAP and get on the dyno to test by Wednesday at the latest
I can not wait to hear how this thing works! Im really thinking about buying another gen 5 if it ends up the way I think its gonna!
Ironically I just had a Walbro (TI Auto F90000265) pump fail on me which was the primary pump of a triple pump system, thankfully it was the primary pump (other two F90000267 pumps turn on at 3psi) so the car would not run and just shut off while driving normal vs a secondary pump failing while in boost where it could have been worse. I hate screwing with fuel systems and would rather at all costs do as little as possible to the stock system to make it sufficient enough for the setup. I have heard some good stuff about the JMS pump boosters.
