That does look really good.
Looks cool as hell, don't think I could make use of it though, and I know I would damage it driving around town. Still, it looks great, enjoy!
one of the best looking vipers imo. can anyone recommend someone that can put the diffuser on my gts in houston.
The fact that it holds up after ground contact is awesome
Still one of the best looking street Vipers to date.
Buuuut...You just can't post only 1 pic of this beast. :D
Amazing TA
Viper Exchange is a great place to start in Houston!
Looks great Bryan, in pictures and in person! Glad to see you enjoying driving it so much!
I'll have you a race to 60,000 miles..whoever wins will have had the most fun!

That looks really cool.
Sooooo I kind of forgot about this thread until a link to it was posted.
Almost 57,000 miles on the car now and 30k+ on the original set of strakes/extensions. Clunked them a few more times but no damage. Just some bits of plastic that have rubbed away. Some day I'll clean up the frayed bits with a knife, but meh. Put the DSE Leading Edge Lock fasteners on a while ago too. Best $195 I ever spent. No more 3M double-sided tape for me! http://www.dougshelbyengineering.com/viper.html
Getting a little bit of ugly corrosion around the CF bits and the aluminium bits, but I kind of expect that with this being so "old". Also, some of the fasteners and nutzerts are rusting a little. Not bad, but enough to annoy me. Some day I'll replace all the fasteners with better stuff, but again... meh.
Here's a couple other photos.

Bryan-you are a "driver"! Your TA looks and "ages" extremely well- not "old"- just "well used "-every mile is a joy and worth it IMO-I have over 50,000 on my 15 and 17 combined- plus another 40,000 combined on my 13 and 14- but MEH-what do i know!
Nice looking T/A
Awesome. Love to hear/see Vipers being driven like they were meant to be.
Beautiful car being used for its intended purpose!
There is NO Intended Purpose for a Viper, it's What each individual Owner wants to do with His OWN Viper! SMDH
Would anyone happen to know the part number for the Hex Head Bolt and Washer that screws into the pre-threaded receptacle on the Extension Strake? My dealer is stumped. In the above write up I think it is referenced as a M6x1.0x25mm bolt. Can't seem to find that part or any reference to this bolt (as related to a Viper) in the Chrysler part catalogue. I have a few that seem to have backed out or sheared during my last track day.

Part number 25 in the diagram above shows 6508387AA and that it's a M6 x 1.00 x 22mm bolt. If you buy the 6-pack of extensions, it comes with a package of new bolts. Nothing special about the bolts, I wouldn't think. Head over to Lowe's and root through their selection. Little dab of threadlocker and I'd bet you're in business!
Yeah that's what my dealer was referencing except that the diagram seems to be labelled wrong. Screw #25 is described and pictured as a pan head screw, not a hex head. That is used for attaching the diffuser to the rear fascia. I think at this point I'll do as you suggest and visit a Lowes. Thanks for the response.
Oh! I didn't notice that about the description. Usually parts diagrams are so wonky and unreliable, I end up ordering parts like the rear wheel fender liners just to see. I'd always love a parts department that would just use photos of each and every part to put alongside their line items in the catalogs.
I lost some carbon-tunnel-to-body bolts and replaced them with hex-heads I got at Lowe's. Kind of janky, but also seems silly to have to buy bolts from a dealer, especially when you're never confident of what you're ordering. Good luck to you!
I have the screws in stock if you need them.
