As far as straightline performance it seems the same. The car rides better, is queiter, has eons improved technology (infotainment), and is just an overall more polished car relative to the old platform. The steering feel is EVEN better (it was already excellent), and it seems the car is more planted in the rear as well. I have not put on a ton of miles so I cant say too much yet.
