After retiring in Southern California I recently moved back to where I was born and reared, Hellam Township, PA. I'm presently a member of the Southern California Region VOA and would like to switch to the WV/PA Region, but have found no way to do it on line. Any suggestions?
I also need to find a really good, reliable Viper Tech in the region, distance is not an issue, quality is most important. I have two Vipers; a black cherry metallic with silver stripes 2000 RT/10 that's been heavily modified (> 920 HP at the wheels) and a Venom Red with silver stripes 2008 SRT-10 with a stock Gen IV ACR motor from Arrow. Any suggestions?
I'm also interested in a couple of near term events (8/22 Pocono Cruise & 10/3 White Mountain Cruise),:newbie: but there are no details on the calendar as of yet. Is there any new info out there?
Looking forward to meeting you folks. :)
Thanks,
Rick Hollis (aka AWSSSSM)

Hey Rick!
I just read that you moved to the east coast recently. Sorry I didn't get to see you at an event before you left. I"ll always remember that day a bunch of us were at the dragway having a great time. Hopefully you have fun with the PA club too. PA you just got an awesome new member. :) I'll contact membership to get you switched to your new local region.
The VOA forums get a lot of traffic from viper owners, enthusiasts and unfortunately spammers... so I edited out your home address and phone number so you don't have any unwanted visitors...

Rick,
Good luck with your move! Hope all is well.
Rick's black cherry RT is quite a beast. A few years back he drove it to Mopars at the strip, ran a 9 second quarter mile (missing 4th gear) and drove it home.
Great guy and real Viper fan, hope you folks welcome him to the fold.

Kala,
Thank you :). I'm really going to miss you guys. Hope to see a lot of you, or at least some of you at NVE2 in New Orleans next May.
Thanks again and be well,
Rick

Rick, welcome (back)! Although a bit bewildered, as I would like to be in San Diego myself, but that's neither here nor there. Not sure where you are located, but many of us locals here in the Philadelphia area use Jeff Palmer at D'Ambrosio's in Downingtown (Chester County). He works on all Gens 1-5, and they take good care of your car. PM me if you want contact information.

You will getting contacted by Mike Kuchavik very soon, as he is a real gung ho President and after coming from SoCal you will be pleased to be with another really strong Club! Lots of fun roads to cruise in your old stomping grounds and there is a heavy contingent of mega - gearheads in Pennsylvania!!!

Rick,
Best wishes and good luck on your move. Love that 2000. Been awhile since I last saw you at one of Dan's dyno days, in retrospect, I did hear a PA accent in your voice (i was born in Upper Darby).
See you back here in January?? Mike

Mike,
Thanks. Not in January, but God willing I'll be back in latter March for Mopars at the Strip through early April for the Mojave Magnum. Will likely stay in Southern CA (Marina del Rey or Santa Monica) between the two events. Good ear on the accent.
Be well,
Rick

I'm east of York in Hellam Township. I checked on the map and Downingtown is < 60 miles from me. Since I have an enclosed trailer that will not be a problem, so yes please send me the contact info. Thank you. Rick

CSXT802, I doubt I would have moved back here if I wasn't retired and don't have to deal with the weather. I mind July and August more than winter. Looking forward to meeting you folks. Rick
