Among other things, I am removing the hood vents on my TA for more cooling on the track. My question is this: does anyone have any ideas of a trim or molding that I can use to cover the edges of the 6 exposed openings? I thought about buying a set of the vents, then gutting and painting them. I would prefer a trim or molding option - its easier and faster.
I am hoping that a creative fabricator is out there!
Thank you.

Here's what we use in the electrical industry. Just cut it to length and wrap the edge with it, and have it butt up to itself.

Post pictures of this then? I think it would look great!

I replaced my vents with the 2nd generation vents. If you haven't removed them yet, be careful, you can scratch the finish. I merely used diag cutters to cut the retaining tabs.

I figured that I would be tossing them out after they were removed. There was no flexibility in the tabs at all.
