D'Ann always wanted a pink Viper. So Wayne surprised her with one today at the VOA Bucket List #3 event at the Steamboat Grand in Steamboat Springs. The car was factory-painted this hot metallic pink as part of the 1-of-1 Viper program. Wayne had diecast pink Vipers made for all the attendees, so everyone got a pink Viper! 1219512196

Looks like a matte finish. I see Venzano did D'Ann a matching purse too, like he has done for all her custom interior cars.

Man, I wish I was there at the event. It is a 5 hr drive from home. Some family Fertility Clinic stuff overlapped with this event so had to choose immediate family growth (hopefully) over Viper family stuff.

Have fun and be safe everyone!

While they do have many vipers they do have other cars like the GT and others. They were featured in our first magazine which showed other cars. If you took away all the vipers you would still be impressed wth what is left.

I think people should do what they want with their cars. Only issue with this pink viper is resale.. It will be a nightmare trying to sell this car. I mean almost impossible. Not sure how much a dealer would give on a trade in. This is a VERY specific color.

This factor doesn't even matter to them. Id say they will buy many more vipers over the years and not sell a single one. And when they are dead and the kids sell them all they wont care(cause their dead) lol

Granted, theyre hoarders of a great car, but Jesus, I get sick and tired of hearing about them every time "Wayne ordered another car for D'ann" (done in my best country accent) or that they've ordered another 10 cars with gaudy interior and exterior colors. I dont understand why all of you seem to praise them. Even Dodge does this. Its weird. Im probably in the minority here seeing all of you post praises to a hot pink Viper with hot pink interior. Austin has purchased zero Vipers and is tired of a couple that is Dodge's biggest customer of Vipers. Fantastic.

While I don't quite get the point of buying 100 variations of the same car, it isn't really a big surprise that Dodge makes news of their biggest halo customer buying yet another one of their halo cars.

I've been a part of these forums and the Viper community for a lot longer than most of you. Thats why Ive sat back all this time and let you [edited] think what you've wanted because it goes to show that some of you are just complete [edited] and only give credit to someone because of what they own.

I read your posts and I perceive a lot of emotion in them; so, I make inferences. That's what people do. In real life we also read body language; but, on the forum all we have ist word usage. I read your choice of words in your response and I perceive a person that has high emotional responses, especially considering this is just a laid back club forum vs. the alley. Austin, this isn't the club we're running.

If you're aggravated with people discussing the VIPERS they own on a VIPER site and they're MEMBERS... then maybe this site isn't for you. I'm not sure why you'd get so aggravated with seeing discussion about someone owning a ton of these cars. There's nothing out of place here, certainly nothing that warrants such harsh comments from you. They don't deserve that.

We appreciate Enthusiasts being part of the site, but simply being so overwhelmingly negative isn't what we're about. And contrary to some belief, just because you have an opinion, doesn't MEAN you HAVE to share it (especially when it's insulting, rude, derogatory - and public). Change the tone. In addition, when those lash back in the same way at you - it doesn't feel good does it - the victim mentality immediately sets in and then the fight breaks out. Blows my mind how often things like this happen. And you'll still wonder why. If everyone behaved like that, this would be a horrible place.

I ask the mods to step in as these comments have gone too far and contrary to what we should be allowing.

PS For the record, anyone owning nearly 100 (and they're getting there) Vipers, SHOULD make news - and discussing it here should be FAR from taboo. Only in this day and age can that lead to the hazing... Amazing. They are rockstars living the life they want to live.

Knowing both Wayne and D'Ann I can tell you that they are truly among the nicest people you will ever want to meet. Sure they are passionate about the Viper but they do not have inflated opinions of themselves. They are just down to Earth really nice people. They enjoy their car collection and they literally drive every one (well except for the last edition Gen 4). D'Ann drives a Viper then tosses the keys in a basket, when all the keys are in the basket she starts over. On one trip right after Wayne had gotten his first Gen 5 (an SRT), he let anyone that cared to drive it, drive it. That helped several people make up their mind about owning a Gen 5, me included. On, the long trips our club have taken with them Wayne washes his own cars just like the rest of us. They carry pet food with them in case D'Ann spots a stray dog or cat in need of a meal and some care. Personally I'm glad they are so passionate about the Viper, it helps the Viper community.

I know a pink Viper isn't everyone's cup of tea, but aren't these insults being thrown at the people that fronted to money to create this club? As much as that doesn't put them above being insulted, it should at least garner a little extra respect.

I don't know this Austin guy or his wife(seem like true viper fans). When you post on an open forum , you might hear OPINIONS that you don't like or agree and some that will agree. You have to have a tough skin. Whether you have 100 vipers or 1, the pink is a unique on a brutal/raw car and is a tough sell... Pink on a VW bug or Jetta is ok ... viper...ehhh...not so much :t0122::p

This goes to show how powerful the 1 of 1 program really is. Its pretty amazing that a factory production car can be ordered like this. There are no limits and you have to love that approach

As we all knew, there would be some questionable combinations but if that's what the owner wants, more power to them. The Viper has never been about fitting in and conformation but rather about making a stand and being unique

I have a neighbor that has a Yellow Mustang with Pink stripes........now that one hurts your eyes a bit

Believe it or not that car will fit in perfectly in their collection. Is it over the top a bit? Yes, but in a cool sort of way. I doubt it gets driven all that much due to the special nature of the paint, but believe you me it will be driven some. If you get the opportunity to see them all you really need to take the time and go through their warehouses of cars. Great collection and salt of the earth folks. Got to spend the evening with Tony and his wife that does the wild interiors and really had a great time. This trip was wonderful and getting to know the folks behind so much of this work made for a great nine day trip for those of us from Houston. Had several dinners with John Gasman and his lovely wife as well. Looking forward to hooking up with most of these folks again as part of NVE2!!!
