I need some clarification on Viper pricing.

I am interested in ordering a 2016 Viper TA 1.0, MSRP 105K which comes in black/comp blue/Y orange.

If I want to order a custom color through the one of one program, them the cost will be:

GTC program base: $95K
TA 1.0 Package: $16k
SRT hood: $500
One stage paint: $2k
Tax/gas guzzler: $4k

Total price for custom one stage color TA 1.0: $117,500 !!!

Am I right? Does it cost $12.5K more for a custom color TA?

Yes because the non-GTC limited edition Viper TA is based on the base Viper SRT (85K) and does not have all the other bells and whistles you get when you go with a GTC, which is based on the Viper GT (95K). Included are some upgraded options and interior, a majority of the stuff which is either useless to a TA buyer or replaced by TA specific options but thats how the GTC program works. You can also get a GTC with a TA1.0/2.0 track package which would give you all the go-fast options of the TA car without all the other show pieces. That package is cheaper and less than half of the the full TA package price. Hope this helps.

Thanks for confirming the pricing.

It seems crazy to pay 12.5k more for custom color and few other options. The only other upgrades included that I can tell is the leather/alcantara seats (instead of cloth) and having additional speakers. It does not make sense to order the TA package.

I thought the only way to get the TA 1.0 was through the 1of1? That the only orderable just TA package since 2015 was TA 2.0. Maybe I was wrong?

Brad i think your right! Only TA available in 2016 is TA2.0 based on the pricing info available when the ACR pricing was released, at 102K. No news if there are going to be limited numbers built. I rather get a SRT, get the VE coilover kit, and get all the carbon bits aftermarket. Real Track Attack monster for under 100k. Its not limited edition but then again a 1of1 isnt limited either.

Haha, same idea I've been toying with..... I'm gonna get some more track time on the car first before I touch the suspension though. That way I'll be in a better position to judge the improvement.

There is no more TA1.0, only the TA2.0 is available. The only way to get the TA1.0 is by going with the 1-of-1 package and adding that option group.
