View Full Version : Clear Bra installers in South Texas

I live in Corpus Christi and was wondering where you Houston and San Antonio/Austin guys are getting your clear bras installed and which product you went with? I'd also like to know if there is anyone that does the install and cuts the film to custom fit the car instead of a pre-cut kit.

I'm considering Suntek and Expel and prefer something custom cut on the car. Isn't Suntek only pre-cut?

Xpel also makes templates for the Gen 5, I know, because I have Xpel installed on my front fascia, wheel wells, rockers, and rear quarters.

Is $3,000 for Xpel ultimate a good price? That includes the guy travelling from Dallas to Corpus Christi to do the install at my house?

Don't know his name. My friend has been in contact with the guy and he is supposed to be one of the best in the country.

Sun Busters in Austin installed my Suntek film on the entire car of my TA2.0. I like it a lot better than my full wrap from XPEL on my ACR.

Well I found and talked to the local Xpel dealer here in Corpus Christi this past weekend. I'll be letting him do the install this weekend and post the results. I won't have time to go to Houston for a while.

Custom cut or pre-cut template? Regardless, best of luck with it. It would be nice to know of a local place that does quality work. I usually just trailer my car to Houston, haha. I've used X-pert tint in Houston for xpel on several vehicles, they do quality work --- no complaints.

I'm looking to get into a 5th Gen possibly this winter and xpel with be my first mod. My GTR is quick, but I miss having 3 pedals. I loved the pictures of your viper on that 1 of 1 thread, gorgeous. Hopefully I'll see it driving around town!

He's using a template but he said he can adjust the dimensions and add more material to wrap around edges on the front bumper and rocker panels. His shop is in Orange Grove, so it's about a 45min drive. I'll post pics but if you want to look at it in person later on (assuming I'm happy with the work) let me know.

Clarity is awesome.. They did my Supra with cquartz and a full on detail job. Amazing job and good set of guys!!
