I'm going to Sturgis in a few weeks and debating on taking the ATV for the G/F and the dirtbike for me to play around on. It looks like there's a lot of riding out there and since we'll be there for a whole week and I have plenty of room in the trailer, I'm debating on taking them along.
The 7 day trail pass is only $20 but I read on one forum that you need to have brake lights and mirrors on all vehicles? I don't have mirrors on either and the dirtbike has no lights on it.....but then I read that people ride dirtbikes out there? Maybe they're talking about dual sport bikes? Mirrors on ATVs seems silly too...I've ridden in several states and never heard that one before.
Anybody know the deal or can you tell me if it's worth it to take 'em with? I'll probably call the National Park Office out there and talk to them but thought I'd see if anyone had some first hand experience.
