Hi All - Do I have the option to display these gauges in my center display? Pic taken from one of the posts. Mine is a 2013 GTS. I've gone through (I think) the screen options and even had a had copy owners manual printed but do not see this. I would certainly prefer this to seeing whoever is playing on the radio station in giant font. I believe that the display pics I took are from a '14. Thanks if you can help.

Sincerely, Analog Doug12004

UPDATE: THANK YOU TO THOSE THAT RESPONDED. I FEEL BETTER IN THAT I DID NOT MISS SOMETHING OBVIOUS. THAT BAD NEWS IS THAT WHERE I SHOULD HAVE 'SRT' / APPS I ONLY HAVE 'APPS/UCONNECT 3G'. THIS GIVES ME A SRT PERFORMANCE OPTIONS TAB, BUT WHEN I SELECT I ONLY GET AN 'INITIALIZING' NOTICE WITH MOVING DOTS THEN A BLANK SCREEN. IF ANYONE HAS WORKED THROUGH THIS ISSUE IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Hi Doug,

Yes you can have those gauges displayed. Go to the bottom far right selection for "SRT/Apps" and select that. Once the options come up you can select the "Performance pages" I believe (not certain, but on mine there were only two choices so it's one of those). Once you get to the next screen go down to "Guages Display #1" on the left had side, and that will allow you to see those gauges. "Guages display #2" provides an additional two gauges as I recall. Again, this is all from my crappy memory, but I think it will get you to where you want to go. Cheers.

When I first got my '14, the SRT icon in the lower right corner wasn't there sometimes, it showed the Settings icon instead. On of my very techy friends found an update, and it's been there ever since.

No, you cannot view those gauges on the dash center section. You can, however, pick which of the four tiny bar graph gauges you can view that surround that dash center panel. When I race the car, I just set the radio panel to Gauges 2. I wish it would default directly to those Gauges 2 whenever the car is started.

I use Display 2 at all times when driving. I know the names of the Sirius station I'm listening to, and once I set the climate, I'm done.

That gauge display "on", and tire pressure at ALL times in my dash display. That's how I drive!

I wish there was a way to switch the the tach and speedometer back and forth to have a larger speedometer in the center for road use. It's a pain to have the speedometer reading at the bottom left of the gauge cluster so small when I don't have my reading glasses on:)

You haven't figured out how to put the digital mph on the tach yet? It is an option in the menus.

I figured that there might be a way to do it but haven't spent much time playing around with it. I actually feel a little guilty now that I enjoy the sound system in my GenV so much although I will say that my 70 Chevelle SS back in 1976 had a better 8trk sound system by far than my GENII:)

Where in the menu is this digital MPH option ?

I figured the OP meant he wanted to see the gauges as displayed in the picture, because that display is in the "center" of the car, and the word "dash" was not used in his post, combined with the fact that all that information can be viewed as Nineball has indicated, which would be duplicitous if placed on the "dash" center display.

OP if you want to see the gauges displayed as shown in your '13, then you can as per my post. If you want them on your "dash" as shown, then as Nineball says, you have other options.

Hi Doug,

When I purchased my car from the original owner, he had not done the latest update to the UConnect system. Once I completed this update a few additional features were added and I believe the SRT/Performance pages is one of them. I think the first thing to do is verify if you have the latest system software running.

Doug,

Just as a follow up, I am currently downloading the "patch" as referenced in the other thread about the hacking of the UConnect system. If you download this latest version of the software, you should have the SRT/Apps available.

This. My car came without a functioning performance pages app, but after installing the previous update it worked fine. Now to find out a way to make it a default page when starting the car.

OKAY - So after talking to UConnect, SRT, UConnect, SRT (seriously) being in and out of the car in a hot garage it was decided that to have this function (g-load, Gauge 1, 2, etc) that it was only available as part of the $19.95 per month 'premium' package that gives you Pandora, etc. Seriously? I know I'm the second owner of a used car but a one year old car that listed for $136K. Unbelievable.

They are wrong, the performance pages aren't part of the UConnect services. Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. I still haven't enabled UConnect on my car and I have access to them all.

Lochness,

Are downloading onto a mem stick to install yourself? I'm trying not to go to dealer in which case I would live with the small radings aroung the driver dash cluster. If this works I would try it!

Hi Doug,

Yes, I just completed the latest update on my lunch break. Here's how to do it:

1. Get a mem stick that will hold at least 4 GB of data and clear everything off of it so it is absolutely empty.
2. Google search UConnect, and select the software upgrade option.
3. Enter your VIN # and it will take you through the remaining steps. Note that you want to download the file onto the memory stick, so if you need to, select "save as" when prompted, and select the memory stick location, so you don't mistakenly download it onto your computer hard drive.
4. Note: you will download a file onto the memory stick, but then you need to double-click on the file once it is on your stick to get the files extracted.
5. After the files have been extracted, take the memory stick to your car. Get in, and put the stick in the slot between the two seats next to the aux elec/cigarette plug.
6. Keeping your foot off the clutch, press the starter button until you get to run.
7. It should ask you if you want to upgrade your software from whatever you have to the following: 8.4AN_RA4_15.26.1_MY13_&_M14 You then say "Ok"

8. There should be 12 files in total, and the process will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
9. Once you have completed it you can turn the car off and take the memorty stick out.
10. If you want to verify that the installation was successful, go to the settings tab and proceed to the very bottom selection which is "system information". That should display the latest software as I indicated above.

If you have any other questions just ask, and I'm sure we can get you through it. The whole process took me about 45 minutes to complete with download and installation. Good luck with it :)

PS: Note that this will not allow you to display the gauges you reference on the center "dash" cluster, but it should provide you with the SRT/Apps at the bottom of the main screen, and will also prevent someone from taking remote control of your car :)

Yep, that's true. I had done an update previously and did this one from memory. I couldn't remember the last steps, that had something to do with turning the car off for a period of time, opening and closing the driver's side door etc. I just went ahead, loaded it, turned the car off, went inside to finish my lunch, and then came back outside started it up and verified that the system was properly updated. It seems to have worked just fine, but to be on the safe side, it's probably best to do the "hokey pokey" ending...... :)

lochnessmonster - THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I now have all the Performance Page options; timing, gauges and G's. Along with a new firewall. Followed your steps to the letter. Before loading in car, I connected the charger to keep the system very even at 12.2V No dips to upset the upload. So Happy .
Anyone can do this - I still use Windows XP! Just use Google with UConnect. I tried Mozilla and IE8 that I normally use and it would not recognize my VIN!

Lochnessmonster,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Perfect instructions. This is coming from a Windows XP guy ( best ever imo!)
Was very careful. Hooked the battery tender to make sure of consistent voltage and the uploads went smoothly. Now I have my Performance pages options. Plus hopefully a new firewall against backs. Everything works. Blamed out the radio presets is all.
Again you are the man! Or lake monster!

Hahaha......that's awesome Doug!!! It's a great feeling when you overcome an obstacle in life that, at first glance, seems so daunting, but you put your head down and get on with it, only to find out, "hey, this wasn't that painful at all." I love it when that kind of thing happens. I wish it were more often.... Anyway, now you can have the full functionality of your tech and know that someone isn't going to take remote control of your car. It's a win-win. Cheers.

I never really use the SRT Apps, but agree you want it. So I am glad you got it working.

I monitor oil and coolant temps and what not in the corners then IATemps in the centre and don't use the centre display for other than NAV etc.

However, does anyone know how to check / reset your oil change status?

I wonder if it's like the Ram, where you slowly depress the gas pedal 3 times in the RUN position?

While we are on the SRT performance pages subject..... I wonder why the Hellcats have lap timers in them and the Vipers do not?

Seems counter intuitive.

That is odd. I also spent some time last night trying to find a maintenance function and had no luck. I find it hard to believe that a car with all this tech doesn't have an oil change reminder etc.

I think it does, as I had the dealer change my oil and the Viper Tech said he reset my oil life reading. So unless he was BS' me then there must be one.

I would start over; empty mem stick. Mine would not load from Firefox or IE8. Used Google Chrome and went fine. Should have 12 units. When in the car, have the door shut. Charger hooked up. I even had my belt buckled so the dash warning was not flashing. Just took a drink in there and watched it load.

Hi Guys
Sorry to resurrect this thread again, but just need some advice. Picked up my new 16' ACR a couple of weeks ago. The thing is the car is in the UK so this UConnect does not apply with any subscription etc. The ACR is not exported formally into Europe but my car was a personal import hence why the UConnect subscription etc does not work.
Sometimes I can get the SRT performance App to come up, initialise and work and other times it tells me I don't have a UConnect subscription and therefore cannot open the SRT performance app which disappears off the App menu!
I don't know if there is something I can do which will allow me to see the SRT app all the time and hence use the gauges? Any suggestions ??

IIRC, guys had to call and delete their "supposed" subscriptions to U-connect, or something like that. IIRC, if the car had a Uconnect subscription, and that subscription lapsed, they would lose the SRT performance App. I'm sure someone will chime in with a better memory of it than me. Seeing as my car is Canadian, it didn't come with the Uconnect subscription to run out.

That is absolutely 100% correct. You need to call you connect/Chrysler and cancel the nonexistent subscription for that Vin number. Your SRT pages will come back up.

Right after I wrote this, I thought to myself that one of the things you connect had to do was to send a signal to the car in order for the subscription to be completely canceled I wonder if the signal from the satellite will reach over to the U.K.
