looks like there will be less vipers bought in canada this year due to the price increase. last year a srt base msrp was around 85k . then we had 3 price increases in the same model year up to 93k. now i was told we can not order a base srt that would be near 100k. we can only order a gt car as a base viper that will have a msrp at 110k. hmmmmmmm . 35k increase in one year for a base viper in canada. as for the acr .....................

Yeah buddy... ACR MSRP is 139,900 + 8,000 for the extreme option (not available yet) which is 114,000 usd...

So technically the ACR extreme is cheaper in Canada than buying in the USA. For now, until they raise prices again.

No more base SRT in Canada.

GTC 109,000
GTS 119,000
ACR 139,900

The GTC price goes up and up (TA package is 20,000)

So a 2016 TA is 139,000 where you could have had a 2015 TA for 114,090...

All Canadian prices of course.

I think the exchange rate probably had the most impact.

Shit. Glad I bought mine when I did this past winter when prices were good. But I sure wish I would've just ordered a new Comp Blue. Be pretty expensive to upgrade now.

That's crazy if so. They still list it on dodge.ca
Honestly, I got the GT and not convinced it's worth the extra 10K. I got my car from Willowbrook in Langley. It might be worth a call to them. My salesman was Steve R.
BTW, I'm not convinced a dealer would hold to sticker. They're pretty motivated.

Add another 500 bucks to the base price. Went up again.

Dodge.ca is still 2015 and is outdated as per usual.

Sorry im mistaken, prices went up 2500... Base ACR is now 141,500. Still cheaper than american prices after conversion (124k USD = 161k CDN)

I hope you weren't one of the guys who bought those 2015 GT from Derrick dodge!

That GTC with a TA2 pack was something like 138,000!! For a 2015!!

I kind of figured the ACR would break the 160K mark in Canada, list on my 14 GTS was over 141K, so I knew it would be well above that. lol

Blame this amateur in the White House and his DC cronies screwing with all the energy prices. Everyone knows the Canadian Dollar is the Oil Buck. Technically blame DC.

And blame the Bank Of Canada for lowering the prime rate just as the oil prices recover....... keeping the CDN dollar artificially low, keeping the manufacturing sector in central Canada happy, and keeping people who shouldn't, borrowing more than they can afford.

And making people like me who buy primarily items based on, or built in the US pay more. Thanks for the default pay cut!

Yah, no side is without blame. Hey I was building my muscle cars, blown Mustangs and old trucks in Sask, Canada when the CDN dollar was worth a whopping 62 cents on the dollar. Moving to the U.S. 19 years ago definitely helped my car habit. Governments suck! All of them.

I keep telling my family back there, the bubble will burst as Saskatoon for example is selling $750k hones with 3,500 sq ft, and vinyl siding. It is completely out if control.

I lived all across Canada in the last 15 years and a few years back I almost ended up back out East. You wouldn't believe how bad it is in Mississauga and TO right now. If the rates go up here to fast the friggin wheels are gonna fall off. Luckily that is a ways away yet.
